30 foot screen sure does sound a lot more impressive than 3x 1080p... which isn't at all impressive.

We're arguing about best remake now? Has the industry really become that pathetic?

The game industry isn't quite as bad as the movie industry yet... but we're getting there.
I'd say so, you'd definitely be able to appreciate the difference when stepping up to a PC from the 360/PS3.
The games run/look better, the MP is better and free, the games are cheaper and easier to access plus it has the largest and most varied library of any of the platforms. Also it's always towards the end of the current gen consoles that the PC starts getting more love like with the upcoming BF3. Good time to get into it.
I had a bad experience with them so I don't anymore.
They automatically debited my card every month and they purposefully make it hard to turn off auto-renewal. You have to call them up and get them to turn it off.
Instead I just cut them off and they suspended my account for a month.
I play MP almost exculisvely on PC anyway, just local split screen on the Xbox for me now.
Was the whole clip actually HITTING the player? FelipeInside
You know what I mean, you shoot people a lot and they just wont go down.
That type of thing is ok in games like Halo, TF2, Section 8 or what have you, but in serious games with a real world setting it just feels clumsy.
It just doesn't make sense that they added semi-realistic ballistics but then gave everyone giant health bars..... :S
[QUOTE="the_mitch28"]Sorry about noob question: what's bullet sponging....?I'm hoping they fixed the ridiculous bullet sponging that was in BC2, totally ruined that game.
Although that 'sniper' video hasn't given me much confidence.

People being able to take way too many bullets. In BC2 it was common to unload entire clips into people and then have them just run off while you were reloading.
And it was silly how you had to play for ages to unlock magnum ammo, it should of been one of the first unlocks.
However I did really enjoy the Vietnam expansion, they upped the bullet damage and the game felt a lot better. It's just a shame they didn't alter it in the vanilla BC2, it was the only thing that stopped me from enjoying the game.
The PC is a highly overrated platform, like the wii to get the most out of the PC it depends solely on your taste in games. While there is alot of variety on the PC it may not be the variety you are looking for and there are alot of high profile titles that aren't released on PC.

I'm sorry but if anything the PC out does the 360 and PS3 in terms of library.
The Wii is harder for it to contend with. Do your research.

you keep saying charge, how do I charge? Do you just mean clicking right click once on an enemy and hitting R to run? I upgraded to the plug bayonets. But not all my guys had them. Some of the guys just had meele.jakes456
No, you have to double right click (fast) on an enemy to charge them.
You can switch back to ranged or vise versa in the HUD with the unit selected.
Also cannons aren't really that good, especially with just the standard ammunition so you shouldn't really rely on them for anything. I generally just use them for trimming the flanks of a line. Cavalry is much more deadly.
