The problem is that the community has an insatiable hunger for updates.

People always want more content for games they love especially when it's free, with Minecraft they feel entitled to it because the game is still in development when at this point Notch has a pretty clear cut idea of how he wants the game to be come release this year.

Bought Divinity 2 on sale and I'm enjoying it quite a bit atm.

Also finishing up Red Faction Armaggedon, it would be a pretty good game if it wasn't released after RFG. The progression of the series is really odd.

Flash drives are already superior to Blu-ray discs and are dropping like a rock in price. Obviously cloud-based and digital media is the most obvious threat to Blu-ray. KC_Hokie

This is very true.

I don't think Bluray will ever be a milestone like VHS or DVD, to me it seems like one of those 'inbetween' formats that some people may choose to adopt. Hopefully the next big format wont use optical discs at all. Especially with things like USB 3.0, Flash cards may very well be the next big format.

No offense TC but you sound like someone who has played CS for the first time, got absolutely walked on, then posted this on the forums to make CS out to require less skill than games you can probably play.

Halo and TF2 are a joke compared to CS, sorry.

I don't think it's the yearly releases that bug people, more the limited amount of changes that happen every year like Madden.

Talking about how many releases a series has doesn't show the whole picture seeing as BF games seem to have a lot more work done to them between each iteration.

I'm mostly a PC gamer but when I think about only having the choice between a Wii or a PS3 for my console, it does shine a bit more of a positive light on the 360 (for me at least).

Well they are probably the hardest primary to do well with in that game... and a lot of FPS games for that matter.

I think people just get more angry and vocal after getting walked on by a dude with a sniper rifle, as opposed to some guy with an AR/SMG etc.

Yeah my TV has that vivid motion thing or whatever its called, it makes the games look a lot smoother but the blurriness gets annoying.

The thread lost any and all credability when you said GT is better than Forza because of sales and that 360 only has rehashes (bad thing) then went on to name HD remakes for the PS3 (good thing).
