Need for Speed Shift has the best cockpit view in any racing game I've played. Take a look at this video of it compared to Forza 3:

Dumbest video I've ever seen, guy can't even win a race in Forza 3 in E cl@ss with all assists on but can win a race in Shift. Just goes to show you something.

And yeah you should be able to play it fine. Maybe not on the highest though.

damn, guess im the one of the few people who are satisfied with 1280X720 resolutions. i mean damn, do you really need to play the game that high?

Games always look the best when you play them on your monitors native resolution, to me getting the game to run at native res is the most important graphical option and I will always make my games run at 1920x1080 even if that means sacrificing other graphical options.

And with Crysis I usually turn down AA and/or shadows to get stable frame rate on High.

Biggest problem, it was worse than XP the whole time and Win7 was better than Vista on its release.

How is it worse than XP? In my experiences it's far superior to that old sluggish, outdated operating system.

I haven't used 7 yet but it's to be expected that it's better than its predecessor and the transition from Vista to 7 was always going to be a lot smoother than XP to Vista.

I'm with you though TC, I've been using XP since 2003 and I still have it on my laptop and I had heard the horror stories about Vista but decided to upgrade anyway and after using it for about a year I have no desire to go back to XP. At all.
The whole operating system is just a lot faster, smoother and nicer.

Half-Life 3 and Source 2 sounds a lot better than episode 3..... if I'm honest.

Well the next Halo is coming out this year I'm pretty sure, it's called Halo: Reach.

For a good tactical RTS go Company of Heroes, Dawn of War 2 and the likes

For an awesome strategical RTS get Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.

So this game is going to be focused on the worst part of Crysis? Fighting aliens... siiiiiiiiiiiigh.

My biggest problem with his (and others on this sites) reviews is that they make excuses and exceptions for mistakes and oversights in AAA games but in games that aren't maybe as good or polished they will burn for similar problems.

I'm sure he'll say differently when his company offers a DX11 card that can compete and make money too.
