It'd be like me gifting you a 20GB version of Barbie: Fashion Designer 4 and then demanding you try it because it's deeper than versions I-III.

Yes that's exactly what it's like
Hell I despise the Uncharted series and that's apparently really good. If I had a copy of one of them lying around I'd probably give it a shot eventually during the slow season or something.
You can manually force AA on with the nVidia control panel yes.
To do it just goto control panel then NVIDIA control panel. When the window opens click 'Manage 3D settings' on the left and under global settings there should be 'Antialiasing -Mode' Change it from Application-controlled to however many samples you want.
So do the usual - defrag your HDD, clean up your registry, install the newest GFWL etc. I play it at max on a Q6600 at stock speeds and drops to 20 in the most insane scenarios.

O, I beg to differ since all of my other games run perfectly fine compared to this one, i've already tried the entire 180 series and 190 series drivers. None of them really help with anything for Red Faction either. I'm certain that if this was a PC based issue, then wouldn't it stem to my other games? (I have a crap load of games without issues, I could list 20 that run the way I expect them to) And I do regular defrags and registry cleans anyways.
And if it's worth noting again i've tried far more things than just the basic defrag/disk check.
Because no other games have dynamic building destruction and stress simulation?
