[QUOTE="Judonwanit"]why would you need to turn off your ps3 with your psp...i mean asides from being on remote play which is already very limited to just watching movies on ur ps3(cannot stream dvds or blu ray),pictures and music. If im near a wireless connection to get remoteplay it either means 1 im somewhere eating at a restaurant or at work where i have a pc to do all those things...christ SONY all we want is games and user friendly functions...EmperorSupreme

Well where I live I can get internet access anywhere in the city for free, which means with remote play I can now use my PSP to access my music, pictures, TV shows (using mediacenter & Tversity), and Kaz said soon games anywhere. The one thing holding remote play back right now is you have to leave your PS3 on and have it set to remote play. They are saying you won't need to do that in the future. That's pretty freakin awesome if you ask me and makes it so my PSP will now be replacing my Ipod as my default travel device.

That's a great point. I didn't think about that, which gives this particular improvement a lot more value imo.

I did forget to mention that you can purchase items from the PSN store through your PC in my original post. Woohoo.

To T-Zone:

Like I said, I hope that they are saving their game for the rest of TGS.

That being said, I see no reason why they shouldn't have tried to blow us away with their opening speech and kept the momentum going throughout the show.

Remote play isn't new, but being able to turn on and off the Playstation 3 with your PSP is. *yawn*.

First off, the two good, concrete points KH made for the system:

  • Dualshock 3.
  • You can turn your PS3 on and off with your PSP.

Other than that there is no other good news, as far as I can see, for PS3 owners. Home is delayed. We have to wait for the Dualshock 3 controllers, which seem to only add rumble and improve the controller in no other way ( I really wanted to see that PS button glow again). No hinting at Sony trying to land more exclusives (or just trying to get more games that would be exclusive to the other system). Where is the in-game XMB? Could we ever see aesthetic improvements to the PSN store? Better connectivity with iPods?

I'm really hoping that they are saving their game (excuse the pun) for the rest of TGS.

Replaying Chrono Cross now. I love this game. I give the replayability an 11/10.
