So i spent today inside my case fitting GTX 480 :) some cable management and moving hard drives to accommodate the huge gfx card... whilst i was there i decided to fit the freezer pro i have only to find the fan doesnt spin. At boot it gives 1 revolution and thats about it... nothing else.

I`ve tried the bios for fan settings with not much luck, so i used the fan from the stock heatsink and ghetto fitted it to the mount with zip ties.

My temps are fine 24° idle and 42° load (core temp, running prime 95 for 30 mins) at stock speed 3.1ghz< Would you chance overclocking?

Looking for a sub £200 gfx can i do any better than this LINK

At the moment i have 2 HD 4850s crossfire and i`m my oppinion isn worth a f..k, every game i have tried has had issues with crossfire, battlefield 3 crashes within 10 seconds, LA Noire runs at half the fps when xfire is selected, gta 4 was being a d..k for ages before a patch, flight sim x runs **** with it aswell.... have i just had a bad time or is it like this for everyone? does sli have these problems aswell?

And before anyone says its your drivers, i`m now on the 8th day trying to get bf3 working with xfire with no luck... tried every combo of drivers and caps with clean installs. For the games i play i`m using only one card so whats the point in having 2.

All i can say is that i will never have 2 gpus in a system again and might even stear clear of ati/amd gpu`s :(

***haha, i went on a bit of a rant there***

**why cant i put £ signs in the topic title?**

I also bought the game on friday and had a nightmare trying to install it and get it running..... somthing like 10+ hours trying to figure out the issue why it was crashing (crossfire) and now i`m having the same issues, filter to 64 player and its showing 2 servers that is full and 1 with 28 players and the rest empty.... i`m typing this as i`m waiting the 5 mins for the game/server to load. Not to mention the issues that i`m having with crossfire crashing the game still :( (latest drivers installed) ................. should have just went with MW3

If you are into shows like Law and Order, Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI...you will love LA Noire.

Thanks for your advice, you have confirmed my thoughts (dont bother waiting) Yup, gaming and web browsing/films only. The cooler is still in the packaging, i bought it to overclock my current system then decided just to upgrade. Thanks again.
