Who cares? The thing is not selling. The Jaguar, 3DO, and turbo grafix 16 all had amazing graphics for their time, but no one bought those overpriced pieces of crap.

The Console makers want MONEY, it's what makes the world go round. If they have to bash another company to get it, than that's alright with me. Don't take it so personal.Dudealadude

But developers wouldn't be in this business if they didn't enjoy working on games either. Money isn't the sole core of all human expression and work. People at the core, are generally all good people, who all want to work on a passion of theirs. In the general scale, money helps people's dreams and passion get them to survive. Do you think we could have people like game designers if we still lived in the middle ages? 

Developers can be in win-win situation. They can be contrained by the limits of money, but in that, because there is a risk, and there is a small or even budgeted amount of money, it causes them to be creative, innovative, and *gasp* artistic. It's all about balance. That being said there are tons and tons of developers that just do it for the money and pop out something every year. I tend to believe that the true artistic yet business minded developers tend to make the best games. 

Yes I'm sick of it. It's gotten to a rediculous point. It's settled down for now though, so I'm glad.

I usually come here for the latest news before even the news sites get wind of the info. Besides, the industry intrigues me, even if system wars isn't a gauge of what everyone thinks. It's definitely a good place to debate and real life conditions, because yes, you will have to deal with people like this in real life. Besides, seeing all these fanboys makes me appreciate real life and my friends a lot more.
