It was a developer issue. Most noticible was madden 08 witch ran at 30 fps on Ps3 and 60 on 360. But thats just cause the Ps3 was new. For example Burnout paradise with is a EA game like madden, runs smoother on the Ps3, other multiplatform game such as DMC4 and COD4 also run better on Ps3 so thats proof that developers are begining to understand how to develop for Ps3, look for games like MGS4 and killzone 2 to really start to push the Ps3 farther than the 360 will be able to match in terms of graphics and framrate.
Yes its coming out this year, and zipper interactive is working on socom 4 which is TBA. HaHa 360 owners are halarious to me. I use to own one. Freakin joke of a system. It has trouble running its own dashboard properly. And xbox live is supposed to be this amazing online experience, and it does have some nice features with friends and stuff, but for the most part its more laggy than the playstation network. And why doesnt it support more than 16 players. COD3 was 24 but thats it! Resistance was 40, Resistance 2 will be 60 and still run smoother than the 360. The fact is the 360 is one of the worst systems i have ever owned, and ive owned them all except snes, and n64. I traded my 360 for a Ps3 and love it! I suggest anyone with a 360 to do the same. Unless your a fan of your console sounding like a jet engine, and lagging using its own menu system.
