@bwvictorious @Xvault77 @Syxx8psycho No, but in most recent games they don't even allow you to backup your saves (or allow it, but not to transfer them to another console) which is absurd. Removing BC is also an utterly stupid move to make. I still own the day one PS3 and I would probably switch if it weren't for lack of BC in new consoles. And Linux? At least you could browse net on it unlike the current PS3 browser.

@Elann2008 The development can be 10 times more expensive if they have 10 times more customers and still not affect the final price. How many people had SNES? Nowadays every child has a console and begs parents for money to spend on games.

@LENGTHIAN True. Even the money I spent on FFXIII felt less like a waste than GTAIV.

@BestJinjo You left out most important qualities: gameplay and story. I'd rather play Chrono Trigger or Golden Sun than Dragon Age or Skyrim.
