can't you keep the PSU from your old PC and save some cash there, i'ld go with the second combo but get a dual core with a faster clock speed insteadmarkop2003

My current psu opnly has 18 amps on the 12v rail and it is a cheap one as i bought it for an 8600 gt

Go to games in vista then right click and select play in dx9

By DX10, what settings do you have on? DX10 Gamer or DX10 Enthusiast? Also, do you have AA enabled?

By DX10 I have settings mainly on gamer a few on mainstream and motion blur off no AA and the gameplay is really poor like i must be getting 12 fps but on DX9 im getting tripple the performance with higher settings why is this?

yeah i already done that and the performance is trippled i can run on all gamer with 4X aa and water physics texture and post processing on enthusiast but i cant even run the game as good on mainstream on dx10 so im wondering is this hardware or software based?
