Last night I got to play a great game of monopoly again. Playing a board game via a video game is much more fun. The pace is so much quicker! You can spend hours trying to complete a game with a couple of people, but when you play the computer with eight other characters you can be done in under an hour. I think i might try finding some other board games that were made into video games. If anybody out there has any suggestions for ones they have played feel free to comment. I've played wheel of fortune in the past with my wife and that was quite an enjoyable experience. She beats be about half the time which makes it more enjoyable for her.

I like constant change with my gaming experiences. I get on a genre kick for a while and then jump over to another one. I guess board games is what i'm hooked on right now.

I have come to the conclusion that i am working way too much. I have decided to change the pace of life and get back to what is important to me. I have been trying to get a small business off the ground while still working my 40 hour a week job. I also have to split my time with my wife and daughter of 16 months. I love both of them and want to give them the time they deserve. I think for now i will slow my business plans down to a slow trickle and pursue the business as more of a hobby.

My video game time has also suffered greatly. That is going to change. I have a subscription to Xbox Live and have not been using it. So my first order of business is to get a copy of Halo 2 and commence fragging. I'm more of a solo gamer and don't have too many friends in the area that are really interested in video game play. So Xbox live sounds like a good place for me to hang out and play.

I have to say that i'm pretty excited about this new decision in my life. I have more than enough video games to keep me playing for a couple of life times and it's time to get busy playing.

I've recently been playing Ninja Gaiden a lot and enjoying every minute of it, but today i was just so beat I needed a game that didn't demand so much dexterity and energy. I decided to get my NES out and start playing Dragon Warrior II. A lot of the NES RPG's didn't require much out of you, but sitting there, meandering along, and killing enemies with a monotonous push of the A button. Very enjoyable and a great hour of vegging out.
