Because being in 3rd place is never a good thing. Explain to me how Sony gets out of the red with the PS3 if they trail by far in console sales which in turn effects the amount of software sold. A lot of PS3 users don't even play games on them so that's not going to help software sales. I'm not attacking you, just trying to figure out how this is a good thing in business.
