thing is though heres the kicker, macbook pro's aint really gaming devices to begin with.

You'll find its mostly people in media industries that will opt for them especially the music industry macs are more a standard bit of kit in studios these days.

Thats common knowledge at this point, but how anyone would even consider bringing them up in the conversation for gaming is ridiculous.

All these laptops would smoke that for a fraction of the price only 2 of the 10 laptops cost more then that macbook.

That's where the extra cost is coming from. I'm not talking about gaming (which clearly isn't the point of buying one).

Find me a laptop with comparable specs that is less significantly than that (thinness and build quality included). Apple did some pretty cool stuff to cram everything in there.

I agree. The only games I'm even remotely hyped for this year are Halo 4 and Sly 4. And one of those doesn't even have a confirmed release date.

I'd rank this on a 2009/2007 level of bad. heck, 2013 hasn't even happened and it's a better year than this paltry one.

The news Gears of War and God of War feel forced, like they just shoved them into the lineup to keep this gen going. I'd rather just have new consoles already.

They are going to announce a tablet tomorrow, they want to beat Google to the punch. The Nexus Tablet and Jelly Bean are supposedly going to be announced at the i/O conference on the 27th. I have no idea what the next Xbox has anything to do with tomorrow. Why would they announce two major things at the same time?

Major penalty or not, the Devils looked flat the entire game. Still one of the more dominant playoff performances in the post lockout era. Still doesn't tops that 2007 Anaheim Ducks. That team was a force, top to bottom.

Atleast, as a Canucks fan, you can say you were beat by the champs. There is some solace in that :P.
