This is mainly a problem in GGD. Not a huge problem but there's seemingly always at least one of these threads in the most recent topics.

It's basically people asking random internet strangers, "How much will I get if I trade in a PS2 and 43 PS2 games?"

I realize there can be some fairly decent guesses but hear me out.

1. In GGD it's there to specifically discuss games, not throw out price guesses for people who won't take their stuff into the store.

2. The only way to get an accurate price on trade in values is to take the games to the store and have the clerk scan them. The prices change constantly, and different deals run, and trade-in values for different games range from $0.50 to $25+

Basically, they're threads that offer no real discussion and often the original poster can't be helped really. I just don't really see why we should allow them considering these things and it'd help clear up room for topics that actually are discussing things or helping people.

I feel this way too. The only times I've traded in stuff is when I really just dislike the game, or in the case like Hitman Blood Money where I owned it for the PS2 (before I was planning to buy a 360) and then traded it in knowing I would buy the game again for the 360.

Very nice madshim. :) dvader654
Thanks D, I was going to PM it to you since I remember you being interested in the MGS cover that my friend made. There is one problem with the cover I made, there's a part on the back near the bottom where (when printed or on a bright screen) you can tell where there are two obviously different shades of black used from where I cut something. It just didn't show up on my monitor as strongly as it would on others. I might just leave it, too small for me to feel like messing with.

I'm so much more proud of that one then the original Green one that maybe a few of you have seen.
I worked a few hours on this one, I'm so tired.

You should have added more options to the poll. Ask people to check to see if their systems were manufactured after March or not and to vote whether or not their systems broke. The systems made after March don't seem to be breaking nearly as much as launch systems.

Wow they look pretty authentic! Nice covers! Fancy posting copies of themup here so we can have a better look? (And nick them to use as replacement covers so we too can have fancy FFVII, FFIV and Vagrant story :P)LsTr_Of_SmG
Everything you need is right here. http://www.snackbar-games.com/gbacovers.php?cat=ps1 That's Snackbar-Games, Snocone (who runs the place) has a big database of custom covers and game art. Of the 5-6 covers I've made personally, all of them are uploaded there. You'll see my moniker (ShimSham) under the ones I made, which were the PS1 covers of Vagrant Story, FFVII, FFIV, Azure Dreams and maybe something else, I don't remember.

[QUOTE="themadshimsham"]I've made a bit of changes as of late. You can see big differences from my last post at the top of the page.
Jaster_DCX

how did u get ff7 and 4 on ps2... i've never see those before... are they importS?

No, you'll look closely they're still PS1 games, but I make custom art for PS1 games so that they fit in PS2 cases. You'll also notice I did that for Vagrant Story, Chrono Cross and several other PS1 games in there.
