My last thread about the NX was what you wanted in the system. But now all of these rumors have got me worried about the system. Especially the 900p/60fps ones from early January (you know the survey from GFK) and last week. Reason is that the reporters (Liam Roberson and Emily Rogers) that predicted Paper Mario for Wii U were proven correct and they were the people who leaked this survey. Which means that any of there rumors could be correct. HOWEVER, I could just be delusional. SuperMetalDave64's (aka Trevelyan9999 on NeoGaf) 3DS rumors have all been spot on (he also got proven correct today except for a few) so that means his NX rumors could be correct as well. Also, there was a patent filed about there being a supplementary unit which the guys at CommonWealth talked about (I'm using their video to get this point across). They conclude that the NX would be like a Gaming PC with a standard solo unit as powerful as the Xbox One, but you can purchase upgrades such as a supplemental computing device to make the graphics on the games look way better than they already are. So it's like the Expansion pack on the N64, but instead of storage it's graphics and processing.

Bailing out on Wii U? Oh definitely, they will be departing the Wii U and 3DS train by the end of this year after Pokemon Sun and Moon and Zelda U, and will be boarding the NX train soon. They still care about it though

Yeah they totally didn't show off Star Fox (the biggest Wii U game of the year besides Zelda U), SMT x FE, Paper Mario, Pokken tournament, and other stuff.

@madsnakehhh: Ehhh suit yourself, let's just see how it feels when people play it. Andre from Gamexplain feels like he needs more hands on time with it to distinguish how the overall game feels.

@aigis: Absolutely agree. This direct will get rid of a few itches, but at least that game won't be at E3, so it won't be a major let down like FF was at E3 last year. You do know what game I'm talking about right?

Edit: As in it was a very good thing it wasn't announced at E3.

The hate is strong with this thread.

I thought the Direct was really good. I was happy to hear about everything except for one. You already know what that one is. I won't hate on it because I actually enjoyed the previous game unlike the entire internet and they only showed off 30 seconds, so let's not be so conclusive just yet (that division of fanboys will do whatever). That game is just Federation Force all over again. However, they have shown that FF can be fun and possibly really good, and I think they will do it for that game too except it will be 10x harder.

If the rumors are true, then the 3DS will probably drop in price this fall. I can't say the same about the new 3DS, but I that will have a price drop soon, it will drop from $199 to $150. So wait and get it then if you don't like the price as of now.

Also, we need to create a new fanboy term for Mobile gaming on SW.
