Mervin_Lib, how much was that runco? We (father) are thining of getting one but that looks to be more than 10 grand. All these set ups are nice but the only bad thing has been the actual rooms but who cares. We have an 80 somthing inch built into the roof of the theatre in my (family's) house but we have yet to buy a projector. Does anyone have any good ideas. The highest resolution/picture "1080p" and it has to be portable (under 20-30 lbs.). Also 10 grand max! I am dead serious with this question. If anyone has any suggestions please comment.

Sony's 1080P VX100. Do it. I have it on an 86 incher. Beautiful. It's in the XBox 360 forums with the "Post Pics of Your Setup."

Hah. I'm serious. I'm a huge audiophile. It's not looking too great yet because I haven't unpacked and still moving and such. I live in Dallas.

Heeeeeere's my setup. Cost me half my life but I'm enjoying my new house after recently graduated. Here's a view of my setup. 1080P projector - Sony VW100 - 86" display.

Overall view. Gotta love the rug! Hah!
My new speakers in all of their glory - Focal Alto Utopia Be's. My Velodyne sub. Love it. Bangin. My new Meridian gear. 861V4/800v4DAX. My center channel. Focal Center Utopia Be. My Box is in my "room." Not yet finished unpacking. My Sammy for the bedroom. 56" 1080P.

Well that's it! After spending $18,000/pair for my Focals and another $16,000 in my processors, display, wires, etc., I'm flat out broke for the next year.

You have to think about this a little bit differently. Let's say the Box hits the 10 million mark - which it's projected to do. Let's also say that with a, modest, 20% attatchment of the HD-DVD peripheral - which is selling out world-wide. In the end, you are looking at four times as many HD-DVD players than already sold. Microsoft has a big push with it's OS as well.
