lol i thought i was the only ex-xbox owner. I love resistance. Halo 2 was great but the online was ruined by yelling 10 year olds and cheatersI'm interested on people's thoughts on this. I used to have a Xbox, and played Halo as it was highly regarded as the game on the xbox (still is). However, coming from a PC background, I found it one of the most boring and repetative FPS ever and think it is highly overatted.
Now resistance is in a similar position as it is a launch title for a new console (as was Halo), and I feel that Resistance is a better FPS than Halo by far. The AI is great, with enemy's taking cover and working together, the graphics are great (perhaps shoulden't compare graphics of this and last gen), the vehicle's within single player handle a hell of a lot better, and the story more original (i like how its set in the 50's but is Sci-Fi, it's a mix of COD in some areas and then Half-Life / Halo in others.), and it is more challenging.
I know I am likely to get a biased opinion here, but it will just get ripped to shred's if posted within system wars. What do PS3 and Xbox (or ex-Xbox, like me) owners think?

I don't think they should have ever even made the 20GB version. It's a waste to have all these multi-option systems and if people want to get the best, they'll pay for the best; It's just that simple. Good job on ditching the 20GB although bad job for even coming out with it.GamersNightmareY is the 20GB bad. If you have no use for wireless or photo cards you cantake the 100 dollars you saved a make a 100GB ps3.
Yeah thats the GPU artifacting. Too bad mate this is the very first report I have heard of a PS3 artifacting games.the first Ive heard of this too. better call sony.
doolies
I hear ya I love my 20gb dont need the wireless cause im by my modem dont care about photo card readers and i like the look better!I know this has probably been said a thousand times already, but it's just my feelings. What about those of us who haven't gotten to purchase a PS3 yet and aren't drawn to bluetooth, a card reader, and a fancy silver faceplate? Yes, I know that the bigger HD is cool, but I never filled up my 360's when I had it... FAR from it, actually. And even if I did want a bigger HD, it's easily upgradeable down the road. Don't get me wrong, I'll be buying a 60 gig regardless now that the 20's discontinued, but I'd much rather of had a choice in the matter.
