Let me expand that question: Say I buy a single copy of it on my Steam account, would I be able to play with another PC using my same account (Offline-Mode) cooperatively on LAN? I know this works for CIV games as it lets both PCs play the same copy of the game (One in Offline-Mode and the other in Online-Mode) at the same time and still play via LAN.

Anyone know of any other games that have this on Steam or Origin? Thanks!

I'd recommend:

League of Legends (no brainer) or DOTA 2 - F2P

World of Tanks or Armored Warfare or World of Warships - F2P

GTA 5

Civilization 5 or Civilization Beyond Earth

Skyrim

Minecraft (no brainer)

Last game I ever pre-ordered was Mass Effect 3. Other than that I stopped getting games on release. I have plenty of F2P games, homework, and other things to keep me busy long enough for them to go on sale. This usually saves me from all the horror stories I've heard about like the Assassin's Creed face melting, Batman Arkam capped fps and settings, and whatever other nasty bugs that make it out to games on day one.

@FelipeInside:

I wish that were the case but realistically I will never have all that speed free to download the game if multiple people are on my internet using things like Netflix and Youtube plus lets not forget that Steam won't offer you 50mb/s download speeds. Most I've seen games download is at around 4-6mb/s.

I buy from Steam ONLY during sales.

Other times I buy from Origin ONLY during sales. If there is a game I really want to get I Google around to find the best places. So far I've used G2A to buy a bunch of games for dirt cheap, like literally $1 to $7 compared to the prices on Steam or Origin which were $10 to $20+. I've also used Bundle Stars and Gamestop (surprisingly). They sometimes have good sales on digital games, like Alien Isolation which was 50% off after first month on Gamestop. I've also traded in old console games for digital PC games. LOL There was once this stoned AF chick at a Gamestop who scanned all my games twice! She gave me double of what I was supposed to get all because my girlfriend asked her how was work. She started going off about Obama and other crazy conspiracies. I think I got like $50 for 5 old games which I redeemed for some digital games and Riot Points Cards.

@insane_metalist:

We played Boarderlands 2 on console together. But on PC we can only play a limited number of games due to her laptop not having the best GPU.

Anyone know of any good RTS games that have co-op or multiplayer vs AI similar to Civilization?

Thanks all

I'm an old timer here at Gamespot, but I haven't really been active on their forums in ages, so I don't know if this is the correct forum or not.

I am looking for some games to play with my girlfriend over internet or wireless LAN. We both like to play each other or with one another but we are getting tired of the same old games, well I am at least lol. I am looking to add a 3rd game that both of us can play.

Games we play:

Civilization

League of Legends

Games we both like:

RPG

RTS

4X

3rd Person Shooters

I would really like to find an RPG game in which we can play together, 3rd person shooter and other 4X type games. Themes we like are usually fantasy and science fiction. Thank you for any help.

Welcome to the better side of gaming. As for your problem, only thing I can think of is your internet speed.

I have a 50/50 mb/s internet speed and a large 10-15gb game typically takes me about 3-4hours to download and install.

some real metal...

eh I don't listen to metal that often but I do appreciate it. Gojira is pretty badass. Cannibal Corpse, Pantera.... stuff like that I like

Used to love Gojira and Pantera too, but I ended up getting into heavier stuff.

Some bands I still love though, probably will never stop loving:

BTW, those kids aren't DevilDriver

This one is just BAF!

Funny how I can hop from hip-hop and rap into death metal and metal, but now I am mostly and exclusively dubstep.

Not sure about Word as I have switched to Google Drive and Google Docs since 2010. I know that Google Drive will automatically put Roman Numerals if I:

I.

If I type in "I" followed by a period and press space. It automatically uses Roman Numerals for bullet points / numbers / letters.
