Don't expect max settings, high resolutions, and AA with running modern games. SC2 is easy to run but will start to take a chunk out of your FPS in huge battles (Zero Hour for example.) All you need is a new GPU.
What computer did you order by chance? It was a pre-built I assume?

Yes, pre-built. It was through Dell, one of the Alienware computers. The Aurora model one. The cheaper one though, since their so expensive.
Should've built it yourself. You should have a decent enough PSU to buy a new video card though. A good upgrade would be the GTS 450 while a massive upgrade would be the AMD 6850 or Nvidia GTX 460 1GB (Has to be the 1GB version.) Newegg has all of these cards at great prices.

As long as it can run games well, I suppose I can tolerate it. I was hoping to run Starcraft II and such off it.

I already ordered it, but was wondering if these specs are pretty good. I'm not sure what all to post, so I copied what seemed most important. Curses on me for having zero computer knowledge for this stuff.
So I already picked up Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and God of War 3 for my first PS3. I was thinking about Metal Gear Solid 4 and Heavy Rain. Would those be good to start off with as well?
I am thinking to get "UP" the game tomorrow, is UP an easy game and very few puzzle? i hate puzzles

I played the 360 copy, which is the extact same game, and it was probably one of the most easy to beat games for me. Its just slow sometimes in terms of the gameplay.
