Yeah I am wondering WHY Super Mario: The Lost Levels is 600. What the hell can you do with the remaining 400???

It's just a really solid tactical RPG with a great class system, awesome story, gorgeous cutscenes, and is very challenging and loads of fun. I know people who have put in like 200 hours to that game. Also, keep in mind, maybe there have been some improvements to the genre since it came out, but when it came out for the PSX it was one of the defining games of that era and has become a huge cult classic.

Many of us probably like it for nostalgia's sake, but truth be told, there aren't a lot of games with that kind of depth in story or character/class development, even today. I am not sure how you were able to miss so much about this game, but perhaps it just isn't your style.

Guitar Hero On Tour got a poor review from Gamespot but relatively solid reviews elsewhere. Actually, I'm inclined to agree with Gamespot on this one. The very idea of staring at a small colorful scrolling screen playing a rhythm game with an awkward peripheral that is generally considered uncomfortable at best, with a track list of 25 songs that would never have made it to the original Guitar Hero is... unappealing.

It's good to see Gamespot isn't as in the corporate pocket as I thought it was after seeing 10/10 across the board from all major gaming websites for GTA4... ridiculous lol

Personally I've never been into these rhythm games, but as far as I know from people who are, they are disappointed with GH: On Tour just because it only has around 25 songs. Also some said they were disappointed with the track list. Plus the gameplay is gimmicky, involves a foreign device so isn't as portable as it could be, and the fast paced scrolling on the screen can cause some people to get motion sickness.

But on the other hand, I've heard some praise.

My DS came with 60% charge because apparently that's how they do it in Asia.

Currently I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics A2.

My current favorite game for the DS is either that or Custom Robo Arena.

Next I plan to buy Disgaea DS. But I'll probably pick up FFIV.
