Depends a lot on whether or not you want to have Nintendo Land and a Gamepad stand with your console. With the Digital Deluxe program coming to an end (exclusive to premium Wii Us) the basic bundle does have more appeal. I regret getting the basic because 32 gbs probably would last me a few years before needing an external hard drive. Anyway the premium Wii U does have better value, I hope I`ve helped a little.

I want to get the Toad amiibo for its function in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.
@bunchanumbers Yeah Nintendo has handled distribution of Monster Hunter Tri (and soon Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as well) in Europe. I don't know if they helped with distribution of MH3U in Europe or not.
I dunno I guess that would be interesting for a lot of Sony fans. I don't have a Playstation 4 yet but I might get one in the next few years (I want sports games). Not that it's all that important, but I don't think that would be a wise move for Nintendo if they want to continue in the console business. If they lose their first-party exclusives their home consoles may lose a lot of traction.
Unfortunately no. I bought Tropical Freeze about a month before Bayonetta 2 came out. When Bayo 2 came out I hadn't quite finished TF but needed to sell it to help pay for Bayo 2. The sad part is I only had 2 stages left I believe. But yes it's a difficult game. I can't imagine how many lives I would have funneled through on the final stage. Was there a rocket-barrel portion to the final stage?
I didn't even crack any of the Temple stages. It's unfortunate I sold it but I really wanted Bayonetta 2.
Some pretty good sales for a new IP. It had a commercial, that must have helped a lot. I'm one that still hasn't bought it. But I'm yearning for some puzzle gameplay and don't think I'll be able to resist much longer.
There are so many great RPG titles for Super Nintendo, but the Wii U Virtual console only has Breath of Fire II, EarthBound, Golden Sun... and I think that's it. Maybe it's hard to bring back some older games due to copyright issues, or maybe it's an expensive process for the publisher. I'm not sure. Playing Final Fantasy 4-6 with Miiverse support would be a lot of fun for me.
Breath of Fire 1 is scheduled to come to Wii U VC early next month, though, I believe.
For me the New 3DS will be very worth it for the analog nub. 1 analog is Not enough in games like RE: Revelations and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. The increased processing power also should be handy. I'm getting one but a lot of that has to due with my not owning an original 3DS anymore.
When they started the show with the new Fire Emblem did anyone think that they were about to announce a Fire Emblem for WiiU? I did and I got excited. Then they showed the 3DS screens and I was slightly disappointed. It's great they're continuing to support the series though and I may check the new one out if I ever finish Awakening.
i saw that and i was thinking "no way fire emblem x shin megami is actually going to happen? No I was sure that was cancelled." i was getting pretty excited. a new 3ds one makes sense though and looks epic
woah mama they came out swinging. that was the best presentation i've seen from them since e3 2010.
edit: what impressed me most:
new splatoon info. before my hype was hardly existent. looking at all the customization options, im officially hyped.
f2p WiiU action game coming from namco bandia- way to take the initiative Nintendo. there's that fighting spirit
Metroid Prime trilogy (and other wii titles) soon available for download on wii u eshop. Didn't see that one coming.
