espn exists because people are interested in everything about a given sport. I watch espn daily. I think it is far better than turning on fox news or cnn and getting that genre of news thrown in my face. an important thing to remember about a few of these idiots is that getting paid millions of dollars a year to play sports does not make you any smarter as a human being. i think its pathetic that some of these guys cant get themselves together enough to stay out of the headlines for a week. Adam Pacman Jones does not deserve to be on my tv set. nor play professional football. im sick of watching what he did this week or why his lawyer says he is innocent. vick is probably guilty. and hopefully this nba ref scandal doesnt end up having more than one nba associate involved. all in all, i love my espn, and im sick of seeing pacman and somewhat vick in the headlines.
i am somewhat neutral to soccer but i think becks coming over here is pretty cool. hopefully it gets people interested in the sport. i dont see any reason to root against it, so im not going to.

its more than just Virginia. i believe they have the harshest penalty, but its a growing trend among states. I read about this on msn i believe. They're calling it "driver responsibility" and basically you end up paying money every year for a few years after you get one of these tickets. ridiculous.
well one thing i did to a friend of mine, I knew he was getting up at 7:30, so i hid under his bed at like 7:25, and when he put his feet down getting out of bed, I yanked on his legs and he fell :lol:
he said it was the scariest thing in his life.

i think they are just basing the commercials on the fact that you can "control destiny when you play the game". that being said, i completely agree with the complaints about the Boise St. vs. OU bowl game. i think it would almost be better to have commentary from the players about that moment while its shown on screen happening the way it actually did in real life. I hate seeing the Boise running back get stopped at the line every time in the commercial.
