New developement

So after what, 5 years or something like that I'm getting a new PC. Something I always were against of, though. A laptop.
Turns out it will come in handy with my studies as it is mobile (rofls go figure, you can carry it around), but it also has a i7 processor and a pretty good GPU and plenty of RAM. Small screen, tho. 15.6".

Guess I'll be playing some video games lolz. The main event will be, wait for it - Starcraft 2. Hell yeah, I'll hit the EU b.net and it's going to be mayhem. omg omg omg, what will my nick be? What race will I play ?? Def not the stinky zerg! Yuck zerg!

I'm very excited.

The Mass Effect Zwei

Well, I decided to act stupid and install Mass Effect 2 on my lol-you-don't-meet-the-reqs-for-super-mario-bros-2 spec computer. It doesn't have a dual core processor, but the rest of the reqs are met.

Am I in for a Mass Effect of disappointment - or is there God in the Universe ? Is this a test for existence of God ?

Stay tuned for more... ahhhh or just don't

Mass Effect #

Since my ancient computer can't run Mass Effect 2, I went on replaying the original game - 22 hours gameplay with just a brief sleeping break at around the middle of this little adventure.. I feel so sick that I don't even want to hear about the sequel right now.

Borderlands, meh :(

There was alot of hype about this game but when I started playing, it felt like I've been there before.
And I just can't stand enemies with health bars in FPS, not to mention having to shoot half a mag to take them out -
even with headshots.. just ain't right!

Reminded me too much of Call of Duty 4 multiplayer without HC mode - not my kind of thing.

Altho, I can see how this game could be so much more fun in coop, which I haven't tried. So my not so good feedback
is limited only to single player mode.

Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is just an awesome game, stunning visuals, vast area to explore and superb gameplay. After some hours of playing, though, I figured it was too much for me. It was far too demanding and I guess I just don't wanna devote to a game that much anymore. Guess I'll just stick to the mindless FPS! :DD

Red Alert 3

Hmm, my first impressions of RA3 were not so good. But. After playing through the campaign for a while I got that familiar old feeling and there i was still playing it at 2 am.

It's a good game, no big praises other then damn outstanding cut scenes but still a Red Alert game and even tho it has some minor setbacks you can very much enjoy it.

Portal Portal Portal Portal

Wow! Just W-O-W! Valve just doesn't stop to amaze. This game is pure awesomeness. It's fun, inteligent, packed up with great humor aaaand.... CAKE! Yes - Cake but I won't say anymore. Source Engine for the win.

so I'm a kind of guy that..

doesn't really like to watch horror movies.. and that also leads to not being this huge fan of horror games as well. I got this game today, Penumbra: Overture and Penumbra: Black Plague which is a sequel. I started playing the first one and it's awesomely made, atmosphere is just how you'd want it in a horror survival game - just amazing. Which is a problem for me. Game is so great but I can't get myself to play it, I just get uncomfortable tense in those situations and I'd rather not be in one unless it's really necesary. hehe. The game is really great and I'd recommend it to anyone that can stay cool while playing it ;)

I'll just stick to the Sins of a Solar Empire instead, the best damn thing since Ascendacy. yaouhh!
