How the hell did I miss out on SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate ? I mean.. SWAT 4 was one of my favorite FPS.. especially the multiplayer which was super competitive. I got kicked off servers for "hacking" on more then a few occasions, I didn't cheat at all, mind you. At first it was very frustrating but after a while I just considered those kicks as trophies :lol: ..that's another story though.
Ah, now I remember.. it was Feb 2006 when SWAT 4 add-on was released.. and it was also the time I was deeeeep into World of Warcraft.. too deep to mind anything else in RL, especially new game titles.
Oh well, perhaps I'll get it in one of the following months. I know it's worth it!
I think it's not the first time I decided and did something like this but this time it feels more serious. First I deleted and threw away all my games but Americas Army which was my _top_ game. Just the other day I deleted it aswell and stopped playing any game. I think it was the right choice of action. This won't stop me from playing Starcraft 2 though or any other great title I was always looking forward to =P
EDIT: screw that stuff, I'm gonna play the freaking games when I feel like it 8)
at first i was sure hitman: blood money couldn't be played on gfx cards that don't support shaders v3, i was a bit disappointed then the other day I learned this was not true so i installed it and play it nowadays, but I had an impression i played that first level before.. but also i was sure i never played the game prior to that.. odd but w/e.
Ain't as good as I hoped I must say, something's just missing.
I finally got to play the latest Settlers, the VI edition, Rise of Empire. Was planning ahead about trashing it over here but it turned out not as bad as I expected but still a major disappointment. The real Settlers games are the 3. and 4. 5th edition was a total disaster, the VI is the same story but better made.
Been a while. I actually played WoW for a couple of more months after that I-quit-lol post. Through it now, really got bored of it. Don't think I'll be getting the expansion either, pretty sick of the game. Spent approximately 200 DAYS playing it, hey, 200 days.. that's 4800 hours of game time.. jeez. Glad I'm done with that.
Got back to Americas Army a bit, it's a cool game and I always liked online FPS with a bit of realism. They actually fixed alot of bugs and PunkBuster keeps most of the hackers out of it aswell :).
I've been really impressed by Resident Evil 4 i played just recently. What they say is true tho, it blows for PC :( but still if you're a RE fan you'll love it nonetheless.
