I was thinking about buying a arcade version of the 360 to replace my 360 that doesnt output video/audio anymore but still turns on since it isnt covered under warranty. but then the guy at gamestop said that the elite would be a better bet it is built better and they have had no returns or anything on these units? is this true he said that the videocard and the motherboard was built better on the elite especially.. i thought they did smaller chips or something to reduce heat on all of them after a certain date? please clarify

What you need to do is either get an old ps2 video cord from your friend or something, or go out and get one. I believe those cords are pretty cheep now. Then once you got the cord and have it hooked up to your tv, turn on the ps3. If you don't have a picture when you turn the ps3 on, hold down the button for 5 sec. This will reset your ps3's settings so that you can see the picture on that tv. Resetting your settings does not reset any game data or online data.Silent_Scope05

ya my tv broke with the regular av inputs (yellow, white & red) now im stuck with a regular old tv that doesnt have any of those inputs is there a way to connect my ps3 to this tv? I'm trying to connect a wii too so they should work the same way if i can find a way to connect the ps3. thanks cole
