I don't know American pricing, but video card wise, a X1950pro could drive that resolution fine. A traditional LCD monitor of that size would have a significantly higher resolution and would require something much more powerful.

ya ive messed around with resolutions on my 19" and i dont see a big difference so i figure go cheap plus bigger at same time

prolly stupid but sounds allright to me

I wouldn't buy something that's recertified myself...but any midrange card can handle that well. 720p HDTVs only go up to a resolution of 1280x720, so a heavy-duty video card, while a definite plus, isn't a necessity. So I'd say look for a medium-high end video card, middle of the pack processor, 1-2GB ram, and the rest is jelly.Staryoshi87

im very noobish:D

how much would a whole new system cost with all middle-high end stuff

my plan goes as follows:work my butt off and buy a 360, then get a

450ish dollar 32" tv/monitor

after that ill save up for about a half year (which should get me anywhere from 750-1250 bucks)

what type of hardware would i need to run a 32" well ( 1366X768)

will i need to spend over 1000 dollars?

thx so much

my pc is modest but games can spike down to 15 or even 10 fps in really shadow good looking environments and that really really pisses me off

REALLY REALLLY REALLY pisses me off

is the xbox 360 more steady in that it mainly just sticks at 30 fps or can it drop to unplayable conditions as well
