Hey everyone,
I wanted to talk about three things in this blog today. The first topic will be about my 3 Day Weekend plans. The second topic will be about how some of the Futurama and The Simpsons episodes have emotional endings. The last topic will be a about a SpongeBob topic that I made about a couple of weeks ago.
1st topic- 3 Day Weekend- Well... we all know that Labor Day is on Monday so I don't have school on Monday (sweet). It's good to have a three day weekend. I do hope to review as much as I can today. For sure by tonight, I am going to review a 4-Part "Futurama" episode called "Bender's Big Score". I haven't seen that 4-Part "Futurama" episode so I'm going to watch those 4 parts on Netflix today and review them. So keep a look for my review on the 4-Part "Futurama" episode "Bender's Big Score". :) For my plans, I just plan to review as much as I can. I do have Economics homework but it's not too much and it's only 4 questions so I'm still able to enjoy my 3 Day weekend. I was going to plan on watching "The Help" today with my mom but something came up so we had to cancel our plans to the movies. Sunday, I'm gonna have to clean up the house but I want to freakin' hurry up because I wanna relax and just review. School is getting in my way of reviewing so I'M GONNA TRY MY BEST to review as much as I can as possible during this 3-Day weekend. :) For Monday, I don't know about Monday but I guess I might review as well cuz no plans for that. So I'm pretty much just staying home as just reviewing. Moving on to the 2nd topic. :)
2nd topic- Futurama/The Simpsons ending- It's rare for a cartoon to have an emotional moment or an emotional/heartwarming ending. Matt Groening (who is the creator of both "The Simpsons" and "Futurama" knows how to add special touches when it comes to adding a lot of humor with some heart and emotion to it. Some people say that "Futurama" is the only cartoon that actualy had some emotion and heartwarming endings. BUT "The Simpsons" has its moments of either being heartwarming or emotional. I don't remember alot of the emotional episodes since it's been a while but the episode I just saw somewhere in the summer was "Lisa's Pony"... I just thought the ending of that episode was pretty sad and made me cry a little. As for "Futurama", "The Luck of the Fryish" definitely had an emotional ending that made me cry a lot actually because he see how Fry has a brother and all that. "Jurassic Bark" also had an emotional ending that made me cry because when Fry was frozen, he didn't realize that his dog was waiting for a long time until his dog died.... that part always gets to me. The the other "Futurama" episode that was barely a NEW episode about a couple of weeks ago was called "Cold Warriors". Now if you all read my review on that episode, you already know that I didn't like "Cold Warriors" too much maybe because the storyline wasn't too great, the characters were getting irritating especially Bender (which makes me sad since he is my favorite character in "Futurama") and everything else wasn't too great. The best of that episode was Fry's flashbacks. I'm bringing up "Cold Warriors" because the ending was heartwarming and kinda tear-jerking when Fry was flashbacking to the time his dad told Fry why he is always pushing him and that he loves Fry... You have to see the very end of "Cold Warriors" to see why it made me cry a little... the ending was definitely the best part of the episode. I just had to cry a little at the ending of "Cold Warriors". Wonderful ending to a mediocre episode. Moving to the 3rd topic
3rd topic- SpongeBob Forum Topic- this topic shouldn't be too long. I just wanted to remind everyone that I made a "SpongeBob SquarePants" forum topic where rate all of the Season 8 episodes and I'm not getting any comments. The only user who commented on that forum topic was i_heart_nick (I want to thank you for that by the way). Can you all please comment on that SpongeBob forum topic.
REMEMBER: it's the one where you rate all of the Season 8 episodes. :)
Thank you so much and I hope you all enjoyed this blog. :)
