No, we don't.

even the article suggests as much, plus being a democrat we know he is much more willing to give away other people's money as opposed to his own.

Hey bran, take out the trash by locking this troll thread

Expecting the leader of our country to set an exemplary example should hardly be considered trolling.

The whole point of the challenge is to dump ice on yourself OR donate $100. You only donate more if you actually dump ice on yourself.

you don't think the president should set an example by donating more than the minimum required amount? Or at the very least his own money?

I think we should all try setting an example by donating our own money. How much of your own money have you donated to charity today?

Don't know about today, but I donate $2000 to various charities each year. I did give a homeless man $20 last week when I was coming off my lunch break. How about you good sir?

Once again our president continues his streak of disappointment by refusing the ice bucket challenge. Not only that our selfless leader only managed to donate a measly $100. On one hand he gets paid a huge amount of money and is a multimillionaire and thus should strive to donate more to charity given that our leaders should set an example.

On the other hand you know the schmuck used taxpayer money to do this so perhaps we should be happy he donated so little of our money to this charity. I wish he would realize just how broke our country is and spend less for a change, but he's a democrat so that will likely never happen.

86 year old Ethel Kennedy took the challenge however.

So there has been much discussion about raising the minimum wage to 10.10 an hour as of late. They have raised it in several other states, and today I heard Obama seems to be under the impression that working 40-50 hours a week, regardless of what it is you do, means that you should be able to pay the bills and feed your family.

Personally I'm not so sure about that. Shouldn't one be paid what they are worth regardless of just how physically demanding that job is? Let's be clear here, I understand that being on your feet for 8 plus hours a day is more physically demanding than say my management position at a bank where I sit in the office making decisions about what's to be done at my company. However my position is not as easily replaced as the Walmart greeter or the people behind the cash register. This is the reason why a person in my position is placed a far greater value to a company than a person who never has to break a mental sweat.

What do you guys think? Does working full time really mean you should be able to pay your bills and feed your family (provided you have a family)?

See, the topic title, I read it and it had me thinking, "Good on you, Rush: finally seeing the GOP for the troglodytes they are."

But then I opened the topic, and, like when the fire nation attacked, everything changed.

He's seeing the establishment republicans for the weak willed cowards that they are. The only good option is currently a minority within the party. Limbaugh has really always spoken honestly tbh.

Just wait until election time, he'll be telling you how great the Republican nominee is and how evil the Democrat is.

The Tea party hasn't done crap to change anything in the federal government. Why? because there is not a single truly honest person in all of the senate, and maybe only two in the entire house of representatives. Debt continues to accumulate, spending never goes down, economically fascist policies continue to be passed (Fascism = public planning with private profits, AKA the US Health and Banking industries), and there is an overall lack of integrity in all of the federal government.

Many in the Tea Party love big government. Calling them anarchists is ignorant beyond belief (and I've read it many times by high ranking politicians, like Elizabeth Warren and Harry Reid) when they promote big government creeping into your bed and your personal life, determining who you should marry and what you can smoke.

Until Rush, and the rest of talk radio for that matter, realize that the issue is not left vs right, but big government vs small government, then he has no hope of ever being honest with himself.

The tea party helped push the so called terrible sequester cuts through that hasn't harmed anyone in any meaningful way. They're the only one's who has pushed for real spending cuts and thus establishing themselves as true small government conservatives.

Captain America was always the coolest superhero character imo.
