Starting later. 8:30am is too early :cry:Bourbons3ouch, mind starts at 8:45, but i get there at 8:25:P
my school removed all the junk food, so no venders and crap lunches, the need some junk food because the guys who sell stuff in school run out too quick.
butĀ my school is ace apart from the food
just wait it out...remember strech and drink loads of water..it might take a while for the pain to go
most of the mederateranin (sod spelling) they are fit as f***...there is nothing better than a bit of eye wandering on the beach
it would be very bad for any 'western' country to declare 'war' with a particular country. they would only do itĀ if they (the agressive nations, Iran North Korean etc) struck first or had a failed attack/stike...in the form of terrorisum it would be hard to pin a particular counrty or goverment with the blame...however if they do have evidence to show that any attack was ordered by a particular goverment then they would have the 'right' to declare war. at the curent moment of time without unified internation support it would be bad both millitary ond politcaly. if the iraq and afghanistan (spelling in bad:P) situations are resorted there would be the flexibity of a multination force to have a new front
[QUOTE="9mmSpliff"][QUOTE="Generalkill8888"][QUOTE="V3ilside"][QUOTE="ulillillia"]I'm not really much into PC games, I've spent more time making games on my computer than playing PC games. I'm about a mid-range type area with a few high areas and a few lows. These are my computer specs, with comments following after the "//" as they are in C programming:
Computer specs (comments after //):
OS = Windows XP Pro; // I know of at least 6 bugs (or strange behaviors) already and I've had it since Feb 4, 2006
RAM = 1.5 GB; // DDR 400 MHz (aka PC3200) - memory is practically never a concern, unless working with 3000+-frame animated GIFs, but may swap the 512 MB stick for a 1 GB stick for 2 GB and possibly use dual channel*
HDD = 250,048,479,232 bytes capacity; // 16 MB cache, 7200 RPM, Seagate Barracuda
OD = CD/DVD-R/RW combo drive; // It's primarily used for backup and installing software programs and drivers
FDD = yes; // Noisy (you should hear the extreme noise it makes - I have a recording of it!), about it's from early 1999 and otherwise very rarely used
Video = GeForce 7600 GT; // 256MB memory, PCI-express x16 interface
Internet = 4 Mbps DSL; // I've had DSL since Apr 28, 2005 - this speed actually costs less than dial-up**
Sound = X-Fi Sound Blaster Platinum; // If only I could quiet down my computer, I could appreciate the clarity and quality of it
Speakers = 2 satellite system // has tone control (Altec Lansing BX1020) - no intentions on getting 5.1 systems and the such since pretty much all my music is mono
Mouse = optical; // another el cheapo device, but doesn't function correctly at random intervals
Keyboard = standard; // has cords and had since late 1999 or early 2000
Monitor = 19-inch CRT; // Philips 109B65/27 - It supports 1920x1440 resolution
Display = 1920x1440 at 32-bit color; // I do everything at this resolution, except when playing games where I usually go with either 1024x768 or 800x600
CPU = Intel Pentium 4 Prescott; // 3.0 GHz clock, 800 MHz front-side-bus, 1 MB level 2 cache, has 64-bit support, but a 32-bit CPU, supports hyperthreading, of which I have disabled (due to a fault with GIMP) and uses LGA 775 - not overclocked
DirectX = version 9.0c; // need it so I can do my game development stuff
Motherboard = 915PL-A2; // upgraded recently to upgrade video card for my game development stuff
Power supply = 380 watts;
Footnotes:
* This may seem unusually high, but I regularly make animated GIFs of 500+ frames and I have two with over 1000. My first animated cartoon, The Mega Race, has 3444 frames (optimized, but 3634 otherwise).
** It seems strange, but just look at the numbers. In my area, it's $18 for dial-up and $17 for an extra phone line (since internet is used a lot). DSL costs $30 and modem rental $4. It's $1 a month cheaper.
As to what my computer looks like, as of April 1, 2006 anyway, here's a thumbnail (click it to view the full size version at 2048x1536)
I've made several changes to my computer since this photo was taken. My 2D game at the time (alpha version, not quite beta) is on my monitor. When this photo was taken, I had my shirt over my legs which causes it to look weird.redhawk360
