The two week delay didn't really bother me, and it is a smart move for Nintendo. Honestly I don't mind that as long as it gets released. But there are allot of people out there who say it is stupid to get the Gamecube version because it's dead. Don't call us stupid for wanting the Gamecube version. It's like breaking up with your girlfriend, some of us need closure in order to move on. The rest of us kind of realize that the Gamecube is dying. Gamecube has been pretty bittersweet; it didn't have many games but we love the games that it does have. Nintendo promised us one final adventure, and we just want to say goodbye; to send it away with a bang before we lay it to rest. A final lay, so to speak, for old times sake.
I haven't heard anything about this in a while, and I remember that there was allot of discussion on this earlier, but has anyone heard anything new about what pre-order special is going to be? or if they are even still planning on having one?
I have heard conversations about this before, and although I think the Zelda world and Mythology would be very fitting for an MMO, It just wouldn't feel like a Zelda game to me. I wouldn't mind it if they called it something different than Zelda, like Hyrule Online or something like that. I think it would need to exist outside of the Zelda games; without Link, Ganon, or Zelda. Perhaps it would take place immediately after Link defeats Ganon and a Civil War erupts... or at least something to that effect. Al in all, if Nintendo made an MMO I think they would just make it a new franchise.
