He means that their are not going to be another generation number. In past consoles for the most part, new consoles could not play old consoles. Phil is saying that MS will stop doing that. Going forward he wants to all future Xbox consoles to work on future consoles. Weather or not he can do that remains to be seen. You can have a CPU with more power more GPU power and more RAM but he wants it about to work with the all Xbox One's. I don't see this happening not for 3rd party games. I think in the next few years the One X will become the standard and all other Xbox Ones will be fazed out.

I always wanted Mark of the Ninja but was unable to buy it for the 360. I have the Xbox One and it is nowhere to be found in the MS store. I was wondering if it will be for sale on the Xbox One some time in the future. I played the demo to death on the 360.
I am finally getting the Xbox One S in about a week. I am getting eh Gears of War 4 bundle. I loved the first 3 and getting number 4 is going to be great. I hear great things about it and I get Watchdogs free. This is from the MS store. If anyone has a better deal going let me know.
The closes thing that I can think of like that is Saints Row 4 and Prototype 2. These are the only games that I can think of that has those elements you are asking for. You might want to try Saints Row 1-3. You don't have god like powers but they are fun.
Madden 25 is already on Xbox One and you have the Master Chief collection for all Halo games. The others I have would not hold much hope for.
@Gaming-Planet: Still though, why not just give the actual numbers?
It's obviously being beaten by the PS4, but why is MS so secretive with their sales data?
The reason is because they are not in first place. When the 360 was outselling the PS3 for months Sony didn't post sales numbers. Companies see it as a sign of weakness to show number if you are not in first place. I don't see it but I don't have to worry about losing money.
My experience with game stop and the reason I dont give my business to them anymore.
I bought the 360 elite when it first came out from GS. The system at the time was $500. I got it home and it rrod on me with-in 2 hours of having it. I took it back to game stop to exchange it. One problem, they sold me the last system they had. So I asked for a refund, no go there because they cant give refunds on open merchandise.
The same staff who sold me the system was still working. The manager tells me I had to wait until the next shipment to get a new elite. To sum it all up I had to wait a week until they got new systems in. Had this been a Wal-Mart, target or any other big retailer they would have given me a full refund without issue. I refuse to ever do business with them again and the truth is I dont need to.
That is harsh. I remember when I worked at Electronic Boutique (before they were brought out by Game Stop) we would mark the return as defective and you had the option to get your money back or get it replaced. Whoever made this rule is a money-hungry bastard.
You just have to pre-order the game to get the money. It does not matter where you get it from. The money is broken up. You get half for your story mode and the other half for your online bank account. I am sure it will be some type of code you will get to get the money.
You need to do some research as to what system has the games you want if they are out now or in the future. You don't want to get a system and it gathers dust because it does not have games you want to play. You want to get the most fun for your investment.
I have a feeling it will be Battletoads. The Battletoads games were fun but the difficulty was insane. I never could beat them.
