Honestly, if I didn't have Resistance, Valkyria Chronicles, Ratchet and Clank, Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Demon's Souls, Killzone 2, God of War, and Metal Gear Solid and instead only had Gears of War and Halo I'd be missing so many of the best games and would think the last four years of gaming were a flop.

Yeah, go from PS3 to laptop and set up the PS3 up as it's an ethernet connection. Connect your laptop to the wireless and in the laptop's network configuration highlight the ethernet connection and the wireless connection and right click one of them to click on bridge connections and it should end up working.

I've noticed laptops wireless is generally much stronger than that of the PS3 internal adapter which straight up sucks. So I bridge the wireless and ethernet of my laptop by highlighting both and selecting bridge connections. Then you can run an ethernet cable from your PS3 to the laptop and you'll take the wireless from that. Set up your PS3 as a basic ethernet connection then plug it into your laptop and there's absolutely no lag on a solid connection.

Are you stretching the image of the 720p games? I have the Samsung SyncMaster 2433 which I use solely for my computer, but older games that don't have 1080p resolution can either be stretched or show black bars. It would obviously look much better if it weren't stretched.

He wasn't joking, I read it earlier and there's a link here:

Looks like it's working fine for most people in the comments though.

Dead Space is all the same type of scare because they can come from any direction. Honestly, the beginning of the game is the scariest part and the game would be more frightening if you walked through the chambers instead of ran. If you're walking the enemies use the vents and they can pop out at you at anytime. I'm also easily frightened and I played with my sound turned down lower because loud noises make me jump and they happen often, particularly when they jump out of glass. For those asking why you'd buy a horror game if you don't like being scared: I bought it because it was supposed to be a good game. I've played through it three and a half times so far and it's one of my favorite games because it's designed so well that each corner you don't know what you're going to get. Games that don't influence your emotions arn't those that are great.

If you're connecting a monitor to the PS3 with HDMI you'll be able to give audio and video to the monitor because an HDMI cable can transmit both. Therefore, if you select HDMI audio on the PS3, sound will come out of the monitor's built in speakers. If the monitor does not have built in speakers but has a 3.5 mm jack (common with computer speakers), enabling HDMI audio on the PS3 and plugging your computer speakers into your monitor will give sound out of your speakers. If your sound system is higher quality it'd be best to connect it via optical directly to your PS3. In this case you'd connect an optical cable from the receiver the subwoofer is connected to to the optical slot on the back of the PS3 and enable optical audio on the PS3.
