I'm having a feeling MAG won't get the greatest reviews, but I'll definitely be buying Modern Warfare 2 because it's going to be equal if not better than the first game. Obviously, MAG reviews might change my mind later in the year when it's released, but it's definitely not a first day buy for me.
I have the sharpness set to zero as well. As for dynamic, etc, movie with the warm preset is supposed to be as close to calibrated color as you can get.
The original warranty is one year, so it would have expired. I have no experience with a specialist, but I sent mine in to Sony. They repaired the blu-ray drive for $150, but it broke less than 5 months later. I sent it in again for another $150 because they only give you a 90 day warranty once it's repaired. Hope you have better luck than I did.
I would love if the online had no problems. MLB 08 was horrendous online, but best baseball game of the year offline. Too bad you can see where your opponent is pitching if you want to play 2-player on the same console.
Why don't you play online where you actually need skill instead of offline on a higher difficulty? And if you can't score the only way people try to score online is to wrap around the goalie and shoot same side, or wait behind the goalie and pass across to one-timer glove side. It's not difficult to defend, but if you're only scoring 1-2 goals a game that's pretty weak. I average 3.1 a game and give up 1.08.
