I want to play most, if not all, the latest games in ultra using a 1080p hdtv.I have gained a bit of knowledge and the following components are commonly what I have come across. HOWEVER, I need more knowledge on balancing power etc with gpu. cpu etc

CASE - Coolermaster HAF - not sure whether 922 mid, 932 advanced full or 932 high airflow

CPU - intel 2500k (overclocked or not overclocked?)

MOBO - Asus P8Z68-V, Intel Z68 Chipset

COOLER - coolit eco II, coolit eco c240, arctic cooling freezer 7/13 pro and BE Quiet Dark Rock are ones ive come across - not sure on which?

GPU - shall i go sli, crossfire or stick with one? I hear one is more safe and prevents microshutter or something...anyway, i want at least a gtx 570 if not 580

SSD and HDD - (should i have both first of all?) and shoud i go crucial, coursair force 3, or ocz

PSU - 650, 750 or 850w corsair enthusiast?

PLEASE HELP ME

I AM LOOKING TO SPEND NO MORE THAN 1200 GBP

A good place to get a comparison on quality pre built systems is www.overclockers.co.uk. You can get gaming systems from £400 upwards and most of them are overclocked and tested before you get them.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-213-OE&groupid=43&catid=2040&subcat=

Select a Graphics card and operating system of your choiceand see how it compares to pc specialist, there's loads of other pre builts to choose from as well, the link is just an example.

I would not like to deal with overclockers because of the reviews they have recieved. I use the review centre (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-213-OE&groupid=43&catid=2040&subcat=) and they are pretty good at giving me a firm picture of reviews. I'm probably too skeptical!

I have built this one up from pcs specialist - please advice me on it

Intel i5 2500k 3.3gz 6mb cache

Asus p8z68 usb3 sata6gb ati/crossfirex

8gb samsung ddr3 dual ddr3 1333mhz (2x4gb)

1.5gb nvidia gtx 580 (it doesnt say what brand like evga msi etc - just nividia)

80gb intel 320 series ssd sata 3gb/s upto 270mb/sr - 90mb/sw

500gb wd caviar black wd5002aalx sata 6gb/s, 32mb cache 7200rpm

(^ do i need two hard drives?)

4x blueray rom drive 16x dvd rom

THESE ARE THE TWO WEBSITES THAT I HAVE USED

PCS SPECIALIST -http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/intel-sandy-bridge-pc/

SCAN COMPUTERS -http://3xs.scan.co.uk/Category.asp?SystemMasterCategoryID=20

I've got 2 systems from them, they're good. When i had problems they were helpful.

Also they have unlocked BIOS and aren't installed with tons of junk like many companies do.

I'm quite the skeptic when buying expensive items such as computers; therefore, looking at the reviews for aria, it seems as some have had all sorts of issues ranging from faults to, what I would consider, extrememly poor customer service. Don't get me wrong, there will always be a minority of cases for every company, but I just hate the thought of something going wrong. I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to computers; I don't know of it will be difficult for me manage a gaming rig. I have things about ssd and hdd in terms of how to make the most of them e.g something where you have your os on the ssd and games on the other? I just think I will have no clue on what I'm doing lol I mean, when I play on a HDTV, how would set the resolution to 1080? And what happens with the actual tv display settings? Are they overridded because surely they might be hindering the graphics if they aren't set properly, and I haven't got a clue how to calibrate the tv

First of all, someone on here has told me to ask gamespot users in the UK who will be able to help me out... I have no confidence or time to build this myself so can someone recommend me a brilliant pc shop in the UK where I can customise my own?

*I have £1000-1200 to spend

*I will be running the pc on a hdtv in 1080p resolution and I want to be run the latest games in near to ultra as possible

*My main questions are: do i need an i5 or i7, should I have one gpu or more - so like have space for another in the future

I really have no clue of what to get so please help me!

Todd
