@heydink: I'm not more biased either way, I'm just trying to derail the hype train that everyone is on. You seem to be the biased one here. I played through the beta just like everyone else, and I really enjoyed it. I'm just stating my opinion that it is easy to pick up by a wide audience, and that is why it is so likable; it doesn't require as much coordinated teamwork.
But if you seriously think that Battleborn is just group up, wait for minions, then spam as many button mashes - rinse and repeat, then I don't blame you for liking Overwatch way better; it is obviously more your type of game. You apparently haven't been playing with a coordinated team on Battleborn, because there is way more strategy than that.
@heydink: Then one of the guys in the video doesn't know how to play Battleborn, apparently. I didn't watch the video, I've played both and know the differences.
I'm not going to argue which one is better; that is a subjective argument and there is no winner in a subjective argument. I love both games in their own ways.
But to say Overwatch has more depth is ignorant, IMO, because it is more of a run and gun game. There are multiple placeable turrets, a character that is a turret, and many other characters that are very easy to pick up and dominate with. As I mentioned earlier, Battleborn requires a lot more teamwork. If you aren't playing with a functioning team, you're gonna have a bad time.
If you are a gamer, and you have played both games, then you know that these two games are not similar. Just because they have characters doesn't mean they are similar.
Overwatch is easy to pick up on and easy to play, sorry to piss everyone off, but it is what it is. It is fun to a lot of people for that reason. It is like a Team Fortress 2 revamp, with characters instead of classes.
Battleborn takes more practice and teamwork. Without coordination it is not nearly as fun, and I feel like this is why everyone is going to say Overwatch is better.
