IPTV is sort of like Tivo for your 360.  Although confirmed only for North America atm (I think) it would let you download TV shows while you play your games.

 

Imagine, you are absolutely knee deep in halo 3 or Mass Effect and at 8 o clock your favorite show comes on, you haven't been able to save your game in 1 hour and its 7:58...thanks to IPTV you can program your 360 to record your show while you play and miss neither moment.

 

Don't take my word to the bank but I watched CES pretty much all the way through and that's what I got from it.
