I haven't played any Wii games online yet, but I'm having doubts about the potential lag with the Wi-Fi and all. Half the time I'm trying to d/l VC games the Wi-Fi is down. Is there an ethernet port on the Wii? I never checked lol.
And wasn't SSBB confirmed in some magazine to be online enabled? Where did I read this...?
They stole my idea! I swear to god, I had this idea several months ago! Probably posted it in this thread. I feel ripped off.
But you know what this means, right? If Nintendo will steal my Pokemon-fighter idea, they will no doubt also steal my Ridley-as-a-playable-character idea!! **** YEaH!!!
That bridge battle video is from the same part as the e3 deom, correct?Nothing really new is shown. But the game looks really cool played by a tester or whoever from Retro was playing.
I wish they would have made some new Space Pirate music, though. Or atleast remix the theme they've been using for two games now.
I'm really excited to hear the new soundtrack, though. That Yamamoto does ambient synth/electro real good :D
I hate to sound petty but I don't like how scanning is minimised. It made exploration and discovery so much more intrinsic and letting the player put the pieces together gave a sense of achievement. Don't like to lose all that in favour of cut-scenes and dialogue. :(bugsonglass
I agree, especially with Edge saying the Voice Acting comes out very hammy.
Those pics ASK_Story posted are actually some pretty good captures. Weird, since every screen cap of a Metroid Prime game has looked like dog**** smeared across a windscreen. I can't help but think that the series' lousy *screen-capability*might have cost it some sales wtih people not being impressed by magazine previews etc.
The games looks so much better in motion, I'd go so far as to say Nintendo should only have released videos of the game. Instead of these iffy screen grabs we've been getting.
