I just set up a new account on my Xbox360 but it has already switched to free Xbox Live, I'm pretty sure its meant to be at least a month free of Xbox Live Gold before it switches. Has this happened to anyone else?

Same here but continue on past it you will have new place to sign in try connecting a few times then test connection then the actual update will happen and bam done.

Saved me from creating a topic this was happening as the update appeared and as it updated and now with the new dashboard I'm connected but get disconnected when I load a game.

hello everyone!!!! I joined gamespot five years ago and this is the first time I joined in the forum, I usually go to this site just to see all the cheats and the walkthrough of the games and then log-out, that's what I've been doing this five years of being member of gamespot. I like video games since I'm 5 yrs old. up till now maybe because of the influenced of my big brother or I don't know, all I know is I play video games since I was 5 yrs.old. I like racing games just like NFS, role playing games just like Fable, action games just like House of the Dead and lastly virtual life the Sims. That's all I think!?!

It´s a shame, but you're probably right.  The social thing of swapping games with your mates is becoming a thing of the past, sadly!  Now it´s all DLC codes (which is a bummer if you buy one copy, then both you and your girlfriend/brother/sister/goldfish/whatever want to play....  Who gets the DLC code extras??)

Its a good idea though one guy gets one GOTY and then you get another so you save which in Au is important.
