Your coping is admirable. πŸ˜‚ But what makes it funnier is that you went with team green after all that shilling for Sony. 😎

Yep maybe that is why i hate todays games so much, this days i enjoy Pilot wings on Snes more than Halo Infinite which i have barely touch.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

No! GamePass started as a subscription service to play games natively on the hardware. PSNow started as a streaming services for playing old games. PSNow was then forced to allow downloading of select games because of GamePass. GamePass eventually included streaming as part of a tiered service. GamePass allows players to play games regardless of the generation. PSNow does not have PS5 games while GamePass contains games from all of the Xbox generations that are all downloadable for gamers to play. To think day 1 release is the differentiator is to ignore reality.

Yeah that bold part just describe sonys other service call PSN+..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

You know where you pay a fee either yearly or monthly and get access to some games THAT ARE YOURS TO PLAY until you stop paying..🀣

The more you try to distance Gamepass from sony services the closes it look.

MS leading the way again. First with the push for crossplay, games on PC and then Gamepass.

🀣🀣🀣🀣

MS didn't even have cross play until after the PS4 pushed it hard, in fact i remember how rocket league was not even cross play on xbox with PC let alone other consoles.

It was after the xbox one failed and everything that MS started to pretend they were pro gamer.

Come on this is common knowledge by now.

Are folks still struggling to accept that Microsoft is leading the industry yet again?πŸ˜‚

In what way?

Sony has more consoles sold, more services sold as well and is making more money for services and games than MS is.

Now maybe latter this can change now it is like that.

I don't think it will for now maybe letter on.

Is to much money to say no to PS right now, beside they can do like they did with minecraft.

Cows: "LOL MS have no good ecloosives!!11"

MS: "Fine, I'll buy studios to get more exclusives."

Cows: "STOP STEALING DEVLLUPERS!??!!!"

MS: "But Sony has been doing that for decades, and it's how they currently have movie-game exclusives."

Cows: "Incoherent Screeching."

Both have been doing that, that is why i say is a normal process of the industry.

In fact Halo was once slated for PS2 before MS bought bungie.

The lol thing about this is that MS now owns Spyro and Crash...πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2 games that started and were made big on PS1.

I don’t see how this would be good for Microsoft. Call of Duty is on its way out and I don’t know if any Activision games that are worthwhile ATM. What could they possible want with them outside of labor?

Don't be silly. COD is still one of the best selling yearly games and Activision/Blizzard is a major player in the industry. Let us not pretend this is a trivial acquisition. This was a strategic move and a major one.

I'm not saying it's trivial. But obviously MS is going to put COD behind Gamepass and potentially cut off other platforms from it. How does that make MS the money it was making Activision? Especially with Call Of Duty declining in popularity and sales?

Is a really risky move, but one that could pay off for them.

They don't lose anything by trying and if it fails well they own COD now it will be like minecraft a money printing machine.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

PlayStation - lets pay for some exclusivity so gamers buy Call of Duty on PlayStation and not Xbox

Sony details Call of Duty: Vanguard's PlayStation-exclusive content - Dot Esports

Xbox - Not having that, lets buy Call of Duty.

Put Sony right in their place.

I don't know what people expected Microsoft to do. They where losing in sales to Sony and Nintendo, and other big players (Netflix, Amazon etc) where getting in the market.

It was go big or go home.

They went big.

Sony are less competition than Netflix in the way Microsoft want to play.

lol the hypocrisy..

It was MS who started to pay Activision on the 360 generation for exclusive content, how can you miss it you were here...

This is not a move to put sony or any one on their place, this is MS way of trying to beat sony because they have try just about everything an fail.

So yeah this is like the last desperate effort if this doesn't really take off for MS yeah i am sure next gen or the one after that you may see all MS games on nintendo and sonys consoles as well as PC.

Is a huge move by MS but a risky one.
