The Most secretive Special Forces unit in the world is by far Delta Force, there is no videos or even remote information about their training and operations. other than the fact that they are a detachment of the green berets.UrbanSpartan125

No offense, but do you Brits hae ANY non Commando's??? Like any base infantry soldiers??? You can say "Ooh teh SAS pwnzorz" but sometimes it comes down to regular soldiers and Marines!!! Not everyone has be a commando!!! Plus we already do have Commando's like Green Berets, Pathfinders, Sappers, Force Recon, Navy Seals, and those Air force guys, I forget what they're called, and atlast, DELTA FORCE, which is owned by the Pentagon.

I don't quite know, I do know that in Canadian basic infantry we get the same training as the rangers, but thats our basic, so I don't know, I just know about SAS, JTFT/CSOR ect...mark4091

From the story's my dad tells me about his experience in the 26th MEU it was awesome. And you get medals for it. My dad got out after 4 years with 8 medals because of his two floats!!!

I thought that the Army, had Green Beret's, Pathfinders, and Sappers, and Delta force was he commando force owned by the pentagon, with guys from all the branches in it???

Each branch has it's own special forces. Rangers, Green Beret's, Delta Force, and the 160th SOAR fall under the Army. (Delta actually is commanded by SOCOM, along with SEAL team 6..but that doesn't really matter. Delta is still part of the Army.)

The Navy has the SEALs and their support groups.

The Marines have Force Recon.

The Air Force has Pararescue Jumpers and Combat Controllers.

I don't have all of them right there but those are the main ones...there's probably many we don't know about.

Rangers get better training then normal Marines, yes. And the majority of the soldiers were actually Rangers in Mogadishu, not Delta. So you're wrong on both accounts.
