We’ve all heard the “official conspiracy theory” of the Death Star attack. We all know about Luke Skywalker and his ragtag bunch of rebels, how they mounted a foolhardy attack on the most powerful, well-defended battle station ever built. And we’ve all seen the video over, and over, and over, of the one-in-a-million shot that resulted in a massive chain reaction that not just damaged, but completely obliterated that massive technological wonder.

Like many Americans, I was fed this story when I was growing up. But as I watched the video, I began to realize that all was not as it seemed. And the more I questioned the official story, the deeper into the rabbit hole I went.

Presented here are some of the results of my soul-searching regarding this painful event. Like many citizens, I have many questions that I would like answered: was the mighty Imperial government really too incompetent to prevent a handful of untrained nerf-herders from destroying one of their most prized assets? Or are they hiding something from us? Who was really behind the attack? Why did they want the Death Star destroyed? No matter what the answers, we have a problem.

Below is a summary of my book, Uncomfortable Questions: An Analysis of the Death Star Attack, which presents compelling evidence that we all may be the victims of a fraud of immense proportions.

1) Why were a handful of rebel fighters able to penetrate the defenses of a battle station that had the capability of destroying an entire planet and the defenses to ward off several fleets of battle ships?

2) Why did Grand Moff Tarkin refuse to deploy the station’s large fleet of TIE Fighters until it was too late? Was he acting on orders from somebody to not shoot down the rebel attack force? If so, who, and why?

3) Why was the rebel pilot who supposedly destroyed the Death Star reported to be on the Death Star days, maybe hours, prior to its destruction? Why was he allowed to escape, and why were several individuals dressed in Stormtrooper uniforms seen helping him?

4) Why has there not been an investigation into allegations that Darth Vader, the second-ranking member of the Imperial Government, is in fact the father of the pilot who allegedly destroyed the Death Star?

5) Why did Lord Vader decide to break all protocols and personally pilot a lightly armored TIE Fighter? Conveniently, this placed Lord Vader outside of the Death Star when it was destroyed, where he was also conveniently able to escape from a large-sized rebel fleet that had just routed the Imperial forces. Why would Lord Vader, one of the highest ranking members of the Imperial Government, suddenly decide to fly away from the Death Star in the middle of a battle? Did he know something that the rest of the Imperial Navy didn’t?

) How could any pilot shoot a missile into a 2 meter-wide exhaust port, let alone a pilot with no formal training, whose only claim to fame was his ability to “bullseye womprats” on Tatooine? This shot, according to one pilot, would be “impossible, even for a computer.” Yet, according to additional evidence, the pilot who allegedly fired the missile turned off his targeting computer when he was supposedly firing the shot that destroyed the Death Star. Why have these discrepancies never been investigated, let alone explained?

7) Why has their been no investigation into evidence that the droids who provided the rebels with the Death Star plans were once owned by none other than Lord Vader himself, and were found, conveniently, by the pilot who destroyed the Death Star, and who is also believed to be Lord Vader’s son? Evidence also shows that the droids were brought to one Ben Kenobi, who, records indicate, was Darth Vader’s teacher many years earlier! Are all these personal connections between the conspirators and a key figure in the Imperial government supposed to be coincidences?

8.) How could a single missile destroy a battle station the size of a moon? No records, anywhere, show that any battle station or capital ship has ever been destroyed by a single missile. Furthermore, analysis of the tape of the last moments of the Death Star show numerous small explosions along its surface, prior to it exploding completely! Why does all evidence indicate that strategically placed explosives, not a single missile, is what destroyed the Death Star?

Uncomfortable Questions: Was the Death Star Attack an Inside Job?

first of all its not an airforce carrier its an Aircraft CarrierUrbanSpartan125

Thank you for correcting his mistake. Before you translated his incoherent post I was completely baffled as to what he meant.

secondly the mission accomplished speech was taking way out of context, he never said the war was over just that the capital was secure and the Major operations were done
UrbanSpartan125

He gave that speech on May 1st, 2003. On November 7, 2004 (more than a year later, in case you couldn't tell), the second assault on Fallujah commenced codenamed Operation Phantom Fury. The assaulting forces consisted of 4 Marine Light Infantry battalions, and 2 Army Mechanized Cavalry Battalions in support. One Iraqi Commando Battalion and one U.S. Marine Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion served as a diversion.

A battalion consists of  a total of 300 to 1,200 soldiers or Marines. There were 8 battalions in this operation. If you don't consider this a major operation, I don't know what to say.

[QUOTE="towel_"][QUOTE="MattUD1"][QUOTE="towel_"][QUOTE="UrbanSpartan125"] we are making significant progress in Iraq

Is that right?

Just because you don't hear about it on The Communist News Network (why do I keep calling it that) and FacismOX doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

It isn't happening.

ignorance, you have no knowledege of the situation

I don't? Okay, believe what you want. Judging from past threads in which you've posted, you obviously want to join the Marines no matter what. This means you're below 18, since you haven't joined yet. This means that, logically, you have no more access to intel than I do, only the media. So how can you say that I have no knowledge but you do just because you possess a different opinion?

No, dude, we're totally winning the war and are just about to finally win it all together. I heard Bush is going to fly into Baghdad Airport as a secret to the troops (not because it isn't safe in that war torn sect driven bloodbath streets) but because he wants to raise a banner with a Mission Accomplished next to Saddam's former palace. This will make up for that little snafu on that airforce carrier.

 Now that was a good one.

Probably shouldn't make assumptions about them when you have no idea what they've been through.

pfft, wars aren't fought with Brigades of men anymore, not even an entire company nor platoon of infantry is sent out on a mission anymore. MagnumPI

The Battle of  Fallujah consisted of  4  Marine Light Infantry battalions and 2 Army Mechanized battalions in support. A battalion consists of 3-5 companies, with a total of 300 to 1,200 soldiers or Marines.  To say that no platoon or company size operations happen any more is moronic.

[QUOTE="jointed"][QUOTE="UrbanSpartan125"][QUOTE="jointed"]

[QUOTE="bt_the_great_78"][QUOTE="jointed"]You keep telling my that my claims are unaware and naive........you wont tell me why.......Chinas military isnt stronger than the United States? Well It can get up to 10 times bigger than America's and keep in mind that the majority of Americas army is stretched thin........so you're not refering to that when you call me naive...UrbanSpartan125

First off, the number of men in the military is virtually irrelevant. Our military is at its smallest size in history. We were numbered around 4.4 million around WWI, now we are down to approximately 2.2 million. This is because we have become more efficient. We use better weaponry, we have better training, more experienced leaders, and we have an effective infrastructure. We could arbitrarily increase and decrease the amount of men in the military and it wouldn't make a bit of difference, we would be equally effective, just with more men at hand for ground operations.

It's not irrelevant when the opposing army is that much larger.....and it's not like China has stone age equippment......as I said, they upgraded their WHOLE army......It's basically the same as the united states only much bigger and with an inferior airforce....and no it's not like 200% inferior

it is no where near the technology of the US military, you need to do some research before you do ignorant posts like that

Ignorant posts like this? comming from you?! I wont even begin to debate with you.......remember last time ?

no where near? well for starters ..their tanks and their infantry eqippment is more modern than americas...

damn I began...

lol, that is very funny. they have no where near the capabilities of america infact they dont even have a networked Soldier system as we do the Land Warrior. They dont even have concepts of soldiers that would give them situational awareness on the battlefield.

The Land Warrior program was cancelled. Though other similar programs continue, they won't be standard issue for a long time.
