my god how have u guys beaten it already? Did u do all the side quests as well? I cant even imagine beating it in such a short time, I have played probably 10-15 hr into it and I feel like I havent even scratched the surface yet, the game seems freaking huge. Also what npc is better when u r a mage, the warhound, or sten or whatever the dude who u rescue in the cage name is lol.
Ya he is right, In my previous post I was going to tell u this but i forgot, but when I first started the game (the time I didnt like it) I was a dwarve warrior, and then about 7 hrs in I decided to try it as an elf mage, and boy did that make all the diff in the world. The combat in my opinion is sooo much better, and more tactical when using a mage so I totally agree with the above post. If you are not a mage maybe u should try that out n see if u like it.
I will admit the first few hours after playing dragon age I was severely disappointed. I was starting to look at the reciept for gamespots return policy when I decied what the heck I will play it awile n give it another shot. I am really happy I did. See when I got dragon age I was expecting another action rpg hybrid kinda like fable 2, oblivion, fallout 3, and most of all mass effect but with swords. I have not really played many real rpgs and it kinda threw me off, but the more I played it, especially once I changed my character from a dwarve warrior to an elf mage did things really start to get fun. I dont in any way shape or form think this game is perfect, but I do think the story, and the length of the game are totally top notch, and I think you get your moneys worth totally. Basically I just want to tell people who just started playing it and maybe dont like it or are disappointed in it to give it a little bit longer, and most likely u will like it, it just taakes a wile to get used to.
If you would have asked me this question 2-3 days ago I would have agreed with you, but after playing it for awile and getting used to it I can say that I am quickly falling in love with this game. I recently bought borderlands, and dragon age, and I liked borderlands but after playing dragon age I havent played borderlands once lol. At first the combat and inventory systems kinda threw me off, I didnt like how it wouldnt tell u how much things were worth to sell unless u were at a store, so I didnt know what weapons to keep or throw away, and the combat was new to me because I am used to playing rpg action hybrids like fable 2, fallout3,oblivion, mass effect etc. But now I am startign to get the hang of it, but by no way have I mastered it lol. I am totally not used to real rpg's. But I do like it, and maybe after awile u will too, u just gotta give it a little bit of time, and get used to it. I think alot of people will be disappointed though because tehy like myself will think its going to be mass effect with swords and it isnt. Hope you enjoy it bro.
I loved the first left 4 dead but the demo to me was kinda a let down. Now I know it was just a demo, but the game was really really laggy, and it just didnt seem right, I cant really explain it maybe it was the lag but when I would shoot the guns just didnt feel right to me for some reason. Also it could have been the new daytime levels that im not used to. Also I saw alot of glitches and bugs when I played like killing a guy, and having his body bouncing off the ground 6 feet into the air for 30 seconds lol. Im gonna give them a pass since it was just a demo and I really hope they fix it cuz I am soooo excited for it and Im def still gonna buy it, but I give the demo a 7.5-10
First off let me say that I absolutely adore the first left 4 dead. It is ranks up there as one of my favorite sleeper titles of all time with bioshock and a couple of few other great games. However I think that the demo of left 4 dead 2 didnt play as good as I thought it would. Now it might have been lag, or somethign else, but the game seemed really glitchy and buggy, and the aim didnt seem to be on like it was on left 4 dead one. I love all the new weapons and enemies, its just the game doesnt seem to have the polish that I was expecting. I know its a demo, and hopefully they will have the bugs corrected, and maybe I just have too high of expectations, but it just didnt seem as good as the 1st one, the graphics and gameplay just seemed a little bit cheap in my opinion. What did you guys think, and compare it gameplay and graphics wise to the 1st.
ok 5 points in each tier makes sense cuz thats what I did and it moved down that was my 1st suspicion. Thanks alot guys.
I have looked everywhere online and I cant find the answer to my question. In order to progress down the skill tree for example I am the soldier in order for me to unlock shooting missles out of my turett, how do I make it to where I am able to move down the skill tiers. I have put 2 in impact, and 3 in sentry which are both in the top tiers of the infantry area. After I did that the next time I leveled up I had the next tier unlocked which were ,scatter shot, and metal storm now my question is why did it go to the next tier. Was it because I reached a certan level? Or wa it because I put in a certain amount in one of the higher skills like how I put 3 into sentry gun? Or none of the above? Basically lol I am asking how the heck do I go down into my tree do I have to put so many skill points into each level or is the lower levels unlocked the higher level u are. Right now I believe I am level 10. Please any info would be great cuz I dont wanna waste my skill points, and I want to get to the lower skill tree as fast as possible. Thanks
P:S sorry if this is confusing I couldnt really think of the clearest way to ask this question.
I played the demo and it was freaking hilarious and the gameplay was pretty good. I was thinking about buying it today but I was wondering what u guys who have bought it think about it. The main thing im worried about is getting my moneys worth. If Im gonna pay 55 dollars for a game the campaign better be longer than 10hrs long. Thats why I love games like fallout3, oblivion, mass effect, and even halo3 because of its multiplayer will last u forever. Is this game worth a buy, and does it have pretty good replayabilty, also what score would you give it outta 10? Also can u do a skirmish against the cpu or bots in multiplayer?
