@Saidrex: oh of course, and we all know pharmacies make medicine so they can cure people out of the goodness of their hearts, not to make money of course.
the true crime here is that there is not enough research being done on marijuana, and its uses in medicine its being blocked by the US govt..... why would they block it? the obvious answer being 'war on drugs'... but scientific research? should we not explore every avenue of research?
humans oddly enough have receptors for cannabinoid's, that's not a fluke... there is something to it, whether its the miracle cure that everybody hopes for or just a mild cure-all ... anthropology has proven marijuana has been used as a medical plant for thousands of years by our species
fact is marijuana has been proven to have a causation effect when it comes to treating eye problems, and that was born out of science not bs,
pharma companies are trying to make derivatives of the cannibanoid compound as we speak, if BIG MONEY thinks there is something to it... YOU SHOULD RECONSIDER what you've been told, for it may not be entirely for your own good to believe what people with crazy monetary incentives say.
@Slannmage: i agree about the controls, also i see this whole VR thing will be reduced to gimmicky shite ie.(last/current gen kinects and motion controls) if the controls aren't there to make it work across a wide genre of games,..
i can just as easily play "The Climb" with a mouse and keyboard a giant ultra wide monitor, and get a similar experience, you can be damn sure if the devs dont make the controls work on a mouse/key/gamepad a mod will come out that will.
also i havent heard much about how the graphical fidelity of VR will work.... if the graphical capabilities of VR are not on par with a 2k/4k monitor, im not quite sure i see the benefit... i think id rather save for some monstrous SLI/xfire setup and a 4k monitor
oh please can i get neck cramps and motion sickness, and wear a tiny crappy screen that barely matches the ability of a 1080p monitor...
im cynical and skeptical, not having actually tried it, i cant say i know what the experience is like, but am i close?
plenty of scumbags like this that reside in powerful corporations, protected by lobbies, and in the government... they do shit like this every year, but nobody talks about them.
e.g. you can be damn sure there is impropriety between 'dick cheney' and 'Halliburton' when he was in office, but nobody batted an eyelash...
he's ultimately guilty of not being well-connected enough to avoid investigations like this
this is less lame, than the real life versions of people doing this.... and then having the audacity of calling it a "trick shot"...
its not a trick shot, a trick shot is something you can do reliably... there's hundreds of misses and retakes, that go into this...
its like me taking a dump, and filming the turd, one of these day's it will be in the vague shape of 'jesus'... and i can film it call it a 'trick shite'
much like makuch does with these articles, one of these day's he'l write a good one.. .and he can call it 'journalism'... till then keep trying...
the problem is perception, any company engaging in day1 dlc, SHOULD know this....
you can swear on your pisser, for all i care...you may be telling the truth, but how do i know?...
developing a neutered version of a game, while at the same time planning to sell dlc that fills in blatantly missing game mechanics is what civ5 did, and earth and beyond.... especially when earlier entries in those franchises were so much more of a complete experience, before their expansions came out... ie. espionage in civ4 expansion(beyond the sword) was made available earlier, but it was already present in the base game, unlike civ5...
