Another Lemming that think XBL invent the internet.
They did invent universal voice chat and friends lists (xfire came out after XBL) , gamer cards, and achievements. They are also pioneers in downloadable movie/TV content. Thats not the point anyway. They are the only service to have all those things which makes the whole package unique. Its more then just the sum of its parts.
There is this thing call AOL, it sucks but it sure does offer voice chat and friend lists. A profile original ? Keeping score have been out since the beginning of game. Download movie and tv content (this is new?). They might be the first to put console online together, but it's NOTHING innovative (a strip down version of internet should I say?)
The Home idea is not new either, but it copy the Internet (myspace, youtube, IM, etc etc.) and at least it represent the Web 2.0 age.
Only Lemming thinks other company like Sony need to look at XBL for ideas.
