It made me wonder if the Enterprise is supposed to be destroyed in every movie now. If so when does Starfleet just stop naming ships Enterprise as a cost cutting measure.

Maybe the Enterprise will become a new class of ship in a forth film if it will ever be made.

Being impoverished in the countryside. Being from the countryside and also having been homeless early on in my life, a city would be easier for food stuff, clothes and whatever else.

@transk53: Yeah I have seen it. 3 times actually. It understands what made the Original Trilogy so memorable and even does it better it certain areas. Not sure if your definition of a Star Wars movie is the shallow, comically flashy lightsaber fights from the prequels, but in the important, mature areas of film like character development, shot composition, and plot, this movie completely knocks it out ot the park. I'm really curious what your reasoning is for it being "far" from a perfect Star Wars film.

The acting and action I thought was very good. Particually the use of the sets which JJ has said so in the press, so no spoiler there,

but as has been stated above which I fully concur, it New Hope version 2. Overall it is a weak film in the context of Star Wars, and of which JJ should have done better. Don't get wrong, I liked it and as an action film it would be very good. The atmosphere gave me the sense of watching fighters that could been F15's going in. From a pure Star Wars perspective, it was poor. Just my personal opinion

I find some of the American pronunciations quite strange, then again probably the same vice versa for Americans. Like Colin Powell having his first name mispronounced, he apparently gave up correcting people. That kind of thing is a shame, as it it really is disrespectful to get someones name wrong.

Thought it was good special affects wise, but really the same as A New Hope. Figured that Han would die before seeing it, but Ren being the son was the only surprise. Quite annoying that yet again, there was another petulant little brat in Ren. Overall a poor effort from JJ. Oscar Isaac was very good though, and the highlight of the film for me.

The part of the movie for me was seeing Brent Spiner not trying to act like Data and be serious. Mary Mcdonnell the thinking mans totty not getting her kit off was the worst part. Overall it was a good laugh. The queue at the Odean was massive.

Apparently Commander Data is back as well.

Really. Be interesting to see how they have brought him back to life. Seemed quite dead to me.
