"I enjoy SKylanders myself, and small children seem to love playing with the figures even when the game isn't present."
Same. I think the game's decent, but my 6 year old's content to just play with the figures with me. That said I'm glad he isn't REALLY into this game as it could get very expensive very quick, but getting a new action figure every now and again isn't bad.
@Toysoldier34 @trdrstv @19James89 Considering no consoles current or future (PS4 or XBone) use SSDs I don't think that's a fair comparison. Nintendo already stated they aren't / won't add a HDD and their solution was to allow External HDDs. If you're waiting for Internal storage larger than 32 GB, it's worth noting that the Wii's internal storage was never increased from 512 MB, so when you say you're "Waiting for a model with more storage" I think that means you're going to skip the Wii U then.
Personally I think 32 GB is plenty as I won't be downloading many games, I prefer discs, but for those who want to go all digital External HDD's (USB2.0 or better) still have better throughput than DVDs or Blurays so it's not going to be unplayable to do it that way.
@bunchanumbers Yeah going to be an Expensive Christmas. Picking up the Zelda Bundle next week and I already grabbed NintendoLand, ZombieU and NFS: Most Wanted.
Then there's like 7 other titles to get between now and new years.
