[QUOTE="TRIPLE_T83242"]Yes. The World Wildlife Fun and WWF/E had an on-going legal battle for a long time. The World Wildlife Fund (shockingly) won the rights to the WWF initials, forcing WWE to "Get the "F" Out" (as they put it) and change to WWE in mid-2002.Ok I'm curious and since this is the everything about wrestling union maybe someone will know. Why did wwf change to wwe? Did the world wild life federation file a law suit or what?

I don't know the exact specifics, as they seem to change every now and again, but WWE is prohibited from referring to itself as the WWF in anything they release, so on any DVD release post-02, any WWF mention is edited (surprisingly its not more noticeable). It can refer to itself as World Wrestling Federation, just not WWF. WWE is allowed to show its old logos in footage, up until the "scratch" logo that they started using around 97-98, during the Attitude Era. That logo is blurred on any DVD release.
yes I know they blur cause bout half of my dvd's are of wwf stuff casue I like wwf better than wwe. But I have a lot more old vhs tapes of mid-late 90's wrestleing then I do of modern wrestling dvds.

Yes.
are you sure or are you just saying that? Does anyone else have an idea of why.
Contrary to the belief of many, a noob/n00b and a newbie/newb are not the same thing. Newbs are those who are new to some task* and are very beginner at it, possibly a little overconfident about it, but they are willing to learn and fix their errors to move out of that stage. n00bs, on the other hand, know little and have no will to learn any more. They expect people to do the work for them and then expect to get praised about it, and make up a unique species of their own.
