I traded it in last week after owning it for over a year and playing it for about twenty minutes total in that time.

Such a shame because the concept itself is great, it was just really poorly executed.

Thinking back, I really enjoyed WaW, and really didn't mind the maps at all.

MW2 is unquestionably the better game technically, but the story is very short, Veteran isn't particularly hard, and the multiplayer maps are terrible.

Spec Ops is pretty nice though whether it tops Nazi Zombies as a bonus feature is highly doubtful.

Figured this would be better confined to this thread instead of a making a new one with a question thats probably been asked a million times already.

I've currently got a 60gb launch model, and apart from it being a bit dusty, and inevitably a bit (seems a lot) louder than when I first got it, there isn't anything wrong with it.

Now, when the Slim first came out, I didn't like it at all, thought it looked very cheap (especially the buttons), but now a friend of mine has it, and I keep seeing them in shops and thinking, maybe they're not so bad.

Plus I hear they run quieter, cooler and use a lot less energy.

So would it be worth trading in?

According to GAME, I'll get £120 for the 60gb, and I've got a 60gb 360 that I doubt will be seeing much use beyond my LIVE expiry date on the 4th of January, so reckon it would be worth it to trade them both in and get a new Slim?

Well I bought my original 360 in time for Gears of War, but I think the real reason I got one in the first place was because I was tired of waiting through the delays for the PS3.

My second 360 was bought simply because I was missing out on the exclusives that I liked when I had my first one.

I bought my PS3 simply because I'd wanted one for ages, not because of any of the launch titles.

Definitely dogs I reckon. Unless you're up a ladder or something, you simply can't get away from them. At least with the helicopters you could simply go into a building or hide behind a wall or something so that it can't get you.

Also you know where the helicopter is, but once someone calls the dogs you don't really have an idea of where they're coming from.

You could simply have MGS4 and you'd be absolutely fine, it's just that brilliant.

Good choice on Uncharted as well, it looks beautiful, it plays nicely and has a great storyline. I tend to think its one of the most underrated games of this generation.

Following on from Uncharted, you might wanna try out Tomb Raider: Underworld. I was never really a Tomb Raider fan but this one is very, very good.

Ninja Gaiden and Assassin's Creed will get very repetitve, but if you can find them for cheap then they'll be worth going through.

GTA IV will dissapoint you hugely if you liked the PS2 versions, but I don't think you can get a PS3 (or a 360) and not at least play it. Definitely not for me though.

COD4, or World at War are brilliant games and well worth buying, might wanna buy a sports game though if you don't like sports, then probably not eh?

Having played it for a very little amount of time at a friends house, I don't think it's a bad game per se, I just can't imagine it holding my attention for very long.

That said, I did just get it for extremely cheap of Amazon so I guess I shall play it properly so I can give a proper verdict.

Would be nicer without moderation of user created levels though.

Need a bit of knowledge here.

Are the new 60gb Pro/Premium consoles coming with new chipsets/heatsinks/anything that might improve reliabilty and noise reduction?

Or should I just get an Elite?
