@pspearman: from completely linear to open level design is a big one, items like grappling hook that improve platforming and combat, Drivable vehicles and actual improved exploration, again due to levels being more open. But to gears defense, it's hard to improve a formula, that was literally perfect already 10 years ago and spawned many copycats/ inspired other shooters, including uncharted itself even
This game is getting great scores every else. The fanboys should be happy. I like how when Xbox exclusive get 7 or lower scores, GS is called sonyspot, but when Xbox exclusive get 9, it all of a sudden isn't -_-
@pspearman: or maybe, just maybe the gears formula is becoming too predictable? It literally looks like the same game we had been playing since 2006. It should have atleast changed a tiny bit, like uncharted 4 did
