although nhl 08 might be the better game this year, who thinks that the deking systemin nhl 2k8 looks more better. nhl 08's deking looks to 1 dimensional and theres really no variety. that one on one thing has no variety at all,in all the movies i just see the player put the puck in between the defenders legs, and thats it!. by looking at the trailers, 2k8's deking system looks pretty sick if u ask me. the shooting also caught my attention, it just looks like 2k8 has a more realistic wrist and slap shot. and whats up with everytime they score in nhl 07/08 they hit the post like 50% of the time??....btw, 2k8's graphics are fine with me....gameplay before graphics imo

yes up to 4. one person can be playing online, then if ur friend wants to join all he has to do is press the start button on the other controller and he'll jump right into the game and it will go splitscreen. this goes up to 4 players on 1 console. also if they want to leave, they can just quit but u'll still be playing without any interuption and it will go back to 1 fullscreen. pretty sweet imo. check out the video interviews on gametrailers
i think they'll both be good but overall i believe that nhl 2k8 will be better. that 1 on 1 deking system in nhl 08 looks really repetitive, all it is really is trying to put the puck inbetween the defenders legs, and that can be too unrealistic at times. however, nhl 08 did add the slap pass and tipping system, so that looks sweet. nhl 2k8's deking system looks pretty good to since they added that pro stick feature, and theyve finally changed the goalie ai. last year, it was nhl 2k7 for me, so i think it will be 2k8 this year for me again.
i just got the game and its not that bad. hahathere was this one part where i was watching some asain movie on this guys tv for like 10 minutes, it was pretty sweet, and there were like6 different channels that had cartoons, other movies, music videos.....anyways......so far it seems thatthe story has a lot of depth that other fps dont have, the graphics are really good imo and the framerate is pretty good(nothing like splinter cells). with gameplay, u have ur typical guns in addition with the darklings. i havent gone too far in the game yet but i've been ripping many peoples hearts with these tentacle looking monsters. well where im at right now, the game overall isn't half bad, im only expecting forit to get better.
i just bought this game and its actually not that bad. i think the framerate is fine, nothing like splinter cells framerate. the graphics are awesome and gameplay is actually pretty fun.the only thing is the multiplayer, its nothing special.
does anyone know if haze online will be like GRAW where you can have more than 1 person play online on 1 console? im kinda confused with this co-op online thing.
geez people calm down, this is actually a pretty big update for only a 0.1 upgrade. I know people, including me, want the custom background, in game xmb or watever, but i swear, all before this people were crying out "we want dvd, ps2 upscaling!!" bla bla bla. man u guys go from one rant to another. ONE AT A TIME PEOPLE.
